West Park is a nursing and rehabilitation center located in Columbus's Hilltop neighborhood. The community offers inpatient rehabilitation for those recently discharged from the hospital due to illness, injury, or surgery, along with long-term care services, respite care, and specialized memory care.
Rehabilitation services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, with each resident receiving a care plan tailored to their situation and goals following hospitalization, surgery, or an acute medical event. An interdisciplinary team, including physicians and therapists, works with residents and families to provide education and tools for a successful return home. Both inpatient and outpatient care are available.
The extended care community accommodates residents needing a greater level of assistance with daily living tasks, offering fully furnished private, semi-private, and deluxe semi-private rooms, as well as suites, each equipped with half baths and free basic cable. Memory care is provided in a secure 28-bed unit with semi-private and private rooms, featuring a Music and Memory program certified by the Ohio Department of Aging.
Respite care offers short-term stays ranging from a few days to a few weeks, with furnished respite suites, 24-hour nursing access, and a personalized plan of care. West Park also provides end-of-life care intended to allow residents to experience their final days with dignity, supported by skilled medical professionals.
Residents have access to regularly scheduled social and recreational activities, community spaces, outdoor areas, and 24-hour guest visitation. In-room amenities include individual room temperature control, a flat-screen TV with cable, a private phone, and Wi-Fi. A full-service salon and barbershop, gathering spaces for socializing, and interdisciplinary care conferences with patients and families are also offered. Dining services include chef-prepared meals, open-style dining, room service, snacks and pantries, guest meals, and coffee service, with registered and licensed dietitians planning therapeutic diets as needed.
