Privacy Policy

MyLivingChoice (“we,” “us”) is a senior living directory operated by Salt Rank LLC. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and exactly what we do with it. The short version: information you submit goes only where you direct it, and we never sell it.

Information we collect

• Family requests. When you use our matching survey or request information from a community, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone (optional), ZIP code, care preferences (care type, budget range, timeline, Medicaid, pets), and any notes you add.
• Community accounts. When a community representative claims a listing, we collect their name, title, work email, phone, and company details, and verify their connection to the community.
• Reviews. Reviews you submit, with the name you provide.
• Technical basics. Standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics. We use a login cookie for community-portal accounts. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

What we do with family information

• Your contact details are shared only with the specific communities you select when you send a request. Communities you did not select never receive your information.
• We never sell your personal information to anyone, and we never share it with data brokers, advertisers, or marketing lists.
• We use your email to confirm your request and follow up about it — including, if your selected communities are unresponsive, sending you their direct contact details so you are never left waiting on us.
• Our team can view requests internally to operate the service.

Community listings and business contact information

Listing information (community names, addresses, phone numbers, licensing details) comes from public records — including state licensing rosters and federal (CMS) datasets — from communities themselves, and from publicly available sources. We maintain business contact information for community management, which we use to notify communities about their listings and inquiries. Photos sourced from a community’s own website retain a record of their origin; communities can replace or remove them any time by claiming their listing, or by emailing us.

Payments

Premium listing subscriptions are processed by Stripe and billed by Salt Rank LLC. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.

Email

We send transactional email (request confirmations, claim verification, account notices) from mylivingchoice.com addresses. Any promotional email we send includes an unsubscribe option, and we honor opt-outs.

Your choices

• Access or deletion: email info@mylivingchoice.com and we will provide or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Cancel a request: reply to any confirmation email and we will withdraw it.

Children

Our services are for adults and are not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Material changes to how family information is shared will be called out prominently.
