I have a friend who lives there. She has speech and mobility issues from a stroke She use to live by herself, but her health and financial issues made it difficult for her to live the way she wanted. I've watched her try. She finally landed at JAG. I've visited her there for almost five years. It was not a place I would want to be. However, I have noticed changes in the condition of the facility. One time, I came, they were moving residents around to paint. Another time I came, they had put down new flooring. Another time, residents had the dressers that held their clothing upgraded. Another time they had their televisions mounted on the wall. So, I've seen improvements and I'm sure they are making more. The clients, don't have the money to be in the fancy facilities. The clients are varied in their health and mental conditions and they might not be accepted in fancier places even if they had the money. On my last visit, I told my friend I had called before I came to make sure she was home. She laughed and said, "I don't call it that." I said, " I know, but it is " My #2 status is moving to a #3. God Bless.

My sister has been at this facility for about 5 years. Last year she decided to take a day out. Most of the workers looked for her all night and the next day until she was found. They have been amazing with my sister!

I have a family member that’s been with them for years. They truly are caring people, a lot of things people don’t understand is this healthcare facility deals a lot with behavioral and debilitating patients including my family member, they take care of her and work hard to make sure she is taken care of because she can be difficult sometimes, but they try their best when it come to her and I appreciate it. A lot of things I wish people understood about nursing facilities is that you can only know as much as you wish to know, if you reach out regularly you will know regularly how your family or loved one is, they’re job is to take care of these residence I don’t see why it would be their job to follow up with about how many socks they have left or snack they have in their room, that is a job I do as the family, clothing wise I learned to write in permanent marker my family members name therefore their clothing returns to them after washing. This place isn’t top tier in esthetics for sure and sometimes as with any medical facility, staff and workers try their best, and I don’t think these workers are getting enough credit for all they do. I appreciate you all for caring and for my family member, and doing your best with her. I APPRECIATE YOU ALL!

Does not even deserve a 1 star ..this facility is a joke sister has been here for two Years over the 2 Years over 2, 000 in clothes and other items gone! Today is Christmas eve went to pick up my sister she was in shorts on has 1 pair of pants 0 socks..what they came up with was 2 pair of jogging pants way to small and has someone else's name on them!!! So hard because I know christmas gifts I give her tomorrow will disappear with in a week ..she just got birthday items decemeber 8th and already gone...the director tries to play it off "I don't know what your sister is doing with things" he should run a circus not a home!!!!!

If I could I would give them a 0. My mother in law was a resident for 6 years. My husband visited her often and staff knew him. He left contact info multiple times, yet my mother in law passed away and they never called. They told the funeral home she had no family. We were told they had moved her to another facility when we went last Sunday to visit her for her birthday. We had to Google to find an obituary. if you have someone here, get them out now!!
