The nurse who was the most helpful was Denise. She spent the weekend with me. Making sure I received my meds on time. She gave me a shower herself personally. Normally nurses leave that for the aides. My aide was a guy who was very nice but I didn't want him to give me a shower. This place is stunning an if Denise was the only person I had to deal with that would be an amazing experience. Unfortunately I had others that weren't as attentive. Denise definitely made up for it! Kuddos to you Denise for being on of the best nurses I've ever come in contact with! Thank you a million times over! I wrote this review after being here for a couple of days. After spending more time I found that Erica (my nurse) my aide Summer were also PHENOMENAL as well. I had 2 other aides that were great too. I wish they were the only ones I had to deal with. One of the nurses was pregnant an I'm not sure of why but anything I needed her to do took an hour or more as if my room wasn't outside of the nurses station. I finally went to the door an asked her to come put my dressing on so I could go to bed. She SUCKED an so did most of them. The night before I left I had a nurse who was super kind. My aide that night was also kind she was the only one who would offer me snacks. I appreciated the small number of people that didnt mind helping me. My PT Emma I believe was her name was also kind. I'm thankful for their kindness and happy I was able to have those who were helpful to me. So I wanted to update my review!

After being in an independent living facility I knew my health was going downhill. I researched several skilled nursing/long term facilities and found The Grand of Dublin.
The admitting Director went above and beyond in order to see i had a nice place to go. He spent several hours making sure my move went smoothly. The people here are awesome and brighten my day. My room is amazing and the food is great.

My sister recently was thrown out today. They put her stuff on the curb to load into the vehicle herself. My sister is suffering from liver failure and has cognitive issues. They put her out!!! They dumped her!!! Not to mention her iPhone 16 was stolen from her room. I reported it to the administration and the head nurse. Nothing was done about it. Also the room she was in had roaches and I have a great picture of a night time aid sleeping in the side lobby by the late night exit doors. You’d think it would be nice considering location. Far from it!!! There’s also no seating or accommodations for family when visiting. At night if you visit late you call to get in. They ask no questions!!! Not a room number or who you’re there to visit. They just let you in. This is very concerning to me.

Edit in response to The Grand's comment below: The administration of this facility was contacted over 8 times between April 3rd and April 10th. No one would return our phone calls and once corporate was involved, she hung up the phone on me. All of these events have been reported to the Ohio Health Department for investigation.

If you love your family member, do not take them here. Within 24 hours of being admitted, we made the decision to get our mom out of the facility as quickly as possible due to: danger, safety, negligence, and malpractice. She was ignored by her nurse for 8 hours during day 1. By day 2, administered a 2 hour dose of potent antibiotic in less than 10 minutes. Both my mom and sister, who was also present, can attest to this. They let her lay in her urine, aides refused care because they said they are "too busy" to see my mom, and they gave all the wrong medications and/or doses. Not a single medication during her stay was correct because no one verified her medical history and medications. They listed my mom with dementia and Alzheimer's despite her being alert and oriented. Ashley G. with corporate lied over the phone several times and then hung up the phone on me, after accusing me and my family and the patient of lying. Danielle (admin) and Ricci (Director of Nursing) refused to see my mother prior to discharge to discuss her horrendous and dangerous care. Upon obtaining medical records, we found out the nurses falsified charting and administration lied about the reason she was discharged on their paperwork. Ashley with corporate refused to correct falsified documents. There was zero accountability by anyone working there. Ashley is a PR puppet with zero compassion, and her lack of empathy and knowledge in the health field is reflected down to the facility and its uneducated, negligent staff. If you care about your family, never step foot in this facility.
