Lovely Nurse
Jul 2026
This place is a nightmare on Elm Street!!!!!! My mother was transferred from Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital, Royal Oak MI for a hip replacement. My mom was admitted for rehabilitation. This facility is understaffed, no call lights answered for 2 to 3 hours. Midnights is the worst, 25 to 30 patients to 1 CNA, patient ratio for the nurses and CNA’s are absolutely ridiculous. Dayshift is terrible too, per DON stated to me via phone, 1 CNA for 16 patients in rehab is standard procedure, no assistance for post surgery patients, if they need help. DON asked for pictures of my mom breakdown and never respond or call me back. My mom had a breakdown after 48 hours in this place, she didn’t have no skin issues when she was admitted, only her surgical bandage, my mom had no assistance to the bathroom or assistance to transfer in and out of bed, my mom was trying to transfer herself out of bed to the bathroom, she was hearing patients crying for help, while being ignored. The midnights nurse sitting at the desk, no CNA available on midnights for hours, call lights on for hours, afternoons are understaffed and needing assistance, day shift is not much better. Management doesn’t care, the administrator was not concerned about her building, she was hiding somewhere in the building, no linen for staff to assist the patients, the food was terrible, we were told the stove was broken, the kitchen doesn’t have the budget to provide quality meals for the patients due to the lack of money in their budget, per corporate. it’s sad what we experienced, especially how these patients are being treated. Corporate has no concern about their patients, corporate was in the building too, it’s about money, the therapy department is disrespectful to the CNA’s and the patients, they don’t help assist the CNA’s while they’re understaffed, therapy leave the patients in the bed and walk away while they’re understaffed, instead of assisting the patients out of bed for therapy, which is a part of their therapy to learn how to transfer out of bed and care for themselves before discharging home. 1 CNA trying to get up 16 patients by themselves. It’s horrible!!!!!!! The family of the patients are screaming and hollering at the CNA’s because their love ones are suffering from a lack of care, due to no help and understaffed. The State comes in and out of this building multiple times, but never talk with the staff or patients about the issues and complaints. Management only helps the staff when corporate or the State is in the building. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Do not believe these fake reviews saying this is a great place, it’s a lie. It’s a Nightmare on the Manor of Farmington Hills. Good service starts with Management. I helped assist my mom, because of them being understaffed, but I can’t speak for the other family members. I feel sorry for the staff🥲. I removed my mom out of that hell hole.
