My Mom has been here for a long time and she absolutely loves the staff.... she knows the caregivers, kitchen staff and cleaning staff and leadership staff by their names! Everyone is very welcoming! The new social director and her team have been amazing as well! Keep up the great work!

We love Sunrise assisted Living for our family member. There are a lot of nice activities on a daily basis. The staff is very caring and understanding to my mom’s care and needs. The place has a very family friendly atmosphere and we appreciate everyone there very much.

I am very happy with the care that my mom received at sunrise in the memory care unit. They were all wonderful with my mom, but some that really stand out are Jody, April, Angel, and Kat. Other staff were the receptionist hope and Jill always listening to your concerns and needs, talking with the people that live there and just superstars in what they do. Nurse Kim and Kristy Britton you actually get to know these people as part of a family. They offered compassion, love, and what people that are in this stage in life really need the most. They are not only accommodating and wonderful with the residents, but also with family members.<br><br>As for activities, your loved one will never be bored. They celebrate various holidays have a whole range of daily fun activities to do, excellent food choices, the place is very bright and welcoming. When you step into their dining area, they have a full-size jukebox where they play music from the 50s, while resident dining<br>together and almost restaurant setting. Activities like movie night, nachos, and blackjack night, daily exercise, for those of faith they have spiritual programs, there is a little something for everybody at sunrise.

When we decided to move my mom up from Texas last year, we needed to find a place rather quickly. Sunrise had been recommended to us by a friend, as her mother had received outstanding care when she was there. We only looked at Sunrise, so I cannot compare it to other places. I can tell you that the entire staff is loving and caring and treats my mom with so much respect.<br><br>The thing that is so impressive is that it always smells clean and fresh! They go out of their way to celebrate holidays and special occasions and there are a lot of activities for your loved to participate in, if they choose to. Moving my mom 1,700 miles, from the only city she has ever lived in and a home she lived in for 55 years, was not easy, but Sunrise really helped her make the transition to Michigan.<br><br>I cannot say enough about our experience with Sunrise. The entire staff is amazing! From the front desk, to the dining room and kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance, the nursing staff and the care team and the administrative team are first rate!<br><br>My mom serves as one of the “Community Ambassadors” and she helps give tours to prospective residents and their families, she listens to other residents when they have questions, she enjoys helping out with her favorite exercise class and sometimes serves as a translator for Spanish for some of the other residents.<br><br>If you are looking for a place that truly values your loved one, look no further than Sunrise of Northville.
