Only put your loved one here if you don’t care that they die. I don’t know if the nursing staff sit on their butts all day or what, but residents are neglected. They are always wet, have food on them, and have health scares. One family member of mine was very religious. She wanted to keep her hair long so she could dry Jesus’ feet. They chopped off all of her hair because it was in “their way”. It took them a while to figure out that she was dead in her bed. Another FM had to have CPR across the street because she almost slipped into a diabetic coma. (Previously nursing staff). You should be making rounds. If you’re attentive to your residents, then you should know the sign of high and low glucose levels. This tells me all I need to know about this disgusting place.

Dad had a short stay at Riverwalk and we cannot say enough about the staff. Every staff member that we encountered was amazing and attentive.
