Short-term rehabilitation is designed for those recovering from stroke, cardiovascular difficulties, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating conditions. The program includes physical, occupational, and speech/language therapies along with support from doctors, nurses, therapists, and social workers. A person-centered approach tailors care plans to improve strength, independence, and quality of life. Long-term care is provided for those who can no longer manage daily tasks or remain at home due to illness, injury, or frailty. Care is delivered by licensed nurses, specially-trained health care aides, and an interdisciplinary team under physician guidance. Services include social services, activities, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to help residents maintain independence. The community accepts private pay and Medicaid for qualified applicants.

Respite care offers short-term stays for family members and friends needing temporary support, allowing primary caregivers time to travel, work, recuperate, or attend to personal matters. Hospice and palliative care, provided in partnership with local hospice companies, supports patients facing terminal illness with skilled nursing care, pain management, spiritual counseling, and bereavement support for families. Outpatient therapy services use clinically-proven strategies and current technologies, with treatment goals developed by therapists in coordination with physicians to increase mobility and manage pain.

My grandmother had a stroke and we didn't know if she would even make it out of the surgery she had. After she made it through, she ended up going to Allisonville Meadows for rehab since she knew a few people that worked there and somehow the amazing therapy team got her back on her feet! She eventually, was independent enough to move into their Assisted Living for a while as well. Now she is living in her own apartment in a senior community, independently. My family & I can't thank Allisonville Meadows enough for helping her along this tough journey and we will always recommend them to friends and family!
