My mother and her room reeked of urine every single visitation please put cameras inside the room if you are gonna have your elderly one stay here They do not change the residence frequently maybe even once a day if that my mom told me

Oak’s deserve zero stars My mother couldn’t speak. They put her in the very last room away from the nurses station barely changed her to the point where she got a bit sore that you could stick your fist in and then used her picture against my knowledge in a book for STNA learning purposes to teach you how bad a bear so I can get this place disgust me they stole from her and made my mother’s last days awful I would not recommend you. Send your parent here unless you want them to die plain and simple.

This facility is horrible, do not choose this place for care or rehab. My mother who was just released 7/17 from being in this facility for a little over 2 weeks has come back home with no increase of strength in her legs and feet. They never took her to the bathroom, wash her in the shower that was inside her bedroom. They are short staffed and not managed properly. She wasn't even washed up and ready at the time of her discharge.. They were scrambling at the last minute to get her together. The physical therapy team did not even help her get in her wheelchair. They just came in for a second and said she's alright, while she struggled to get from her bed to the wheelchair with my help and two nurses. This was a terrible experience.

If your love one is mentally sound and somewhat physically stable then I would say it's okay for a short stay..Don't put your love one in this facility if their cognitive functions have deminshed and mobility is off..I would avoid this place at all cost! The whole establishment needs a do- over! I had over a month to see how they operate and it's very below average! They need to have an investigator out to see the unsanitary conditions along with delayed care. Read the other complaints..They absolutely ignore the call lights especially at night. Very unprofessional staff from top to bottom. Do yourself and love one a favor and look elsewhere.

My husband stayed at the, “Oaks of Brecksville,” for two weeks. His left knee recovery was wonderful! We will be back in Sept. for the, “Oaks of Brecksville,” to care for his next complete knee reconstruction on his right knee.<br>Thank you, for everyone in physical therapy, office staff April, also all the nurses, everyone bringing food, and everyone bringing ice, for his ice machine + all the staff.<br>Thank-you,<br>Ted
