My grandmother stayed at this nursing home, and our family had a wonderful experience. From the moment she arrived, the staff treated her with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. The nurses and caregivers were attentive to her needs and always took the time to make sure she was comfortable and well. We especially appreciated the communication from the staff, who kept us informed and were always willing to answer questions. What stood out most was the respect and dignity shown to my grandmother every day. She truly felt valued, and it was clear that the employees cared about their residents as people, not just patients. We are grateful for the support and excellent care she received during her stay. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and professional environment for a loved one.

My sister, Mary Wright was admitted to Regency at Whitmore Lake on April 2nd 2026. She went there after being severely sick and in St Joes for a month, with most of that in ICU. She needed a lot of physical therapy before she could come home. I can truly say that I am so glad that I chose this place. I have gotten to know a lot of the residents there along with the staff. All the residents are Happy. My sister was happy for the most part. But she is a very picky person. I enjoyed going there just about every day. They got her up and walking. Making her own bed, and dressing herself. She came home 05/22/2026. I will be visiting Regency often to see the residents that I have come attached to. Especially Sherrie. Staff is great. Only problem is, they, just like everywhere else, are understaffed. They make it work. Always pleasant.

My father is 95, and my mother is 91. They both suffered serious fall at home in the past one month, which made their home stay very unsafe. I'm so glad that Regency at Whitmore Lake admitted them into the facility together, and placed them in a room with 2 beds, so they can live there together. The facility staffs are very friendly and professional! In the first 2 weeks, I got many phone calls from the staffs of different departments to ask about my parents' preference, and how to better serve them and let them feel at home. Each weekday, the nurse or aid dresses them in the morning, and the PT/OP brings them to the exercise room to have therapy sections. After that, my parents will be pushed in the wheelchairs to the big dining room to have lunch with other residents. They also participated in different activities provided by the facility. I really appreciate that all the staffs have a caring heart, and are willing to go extra mile to, not just passively taking care of their basic needs, but proactively let the residents to involve in group social life. That is very important to my elderly parents to keep them healthy physically and mentally. I highly recommend this facility!
