Elevated Care was the most awful Rehab/Nursing Home that I ever encounter. My mom was there for about 19 days and we were told that on the 21 first day she had to leave or we had to give her check to them. They were so awful no compassionate care whatsoever!!! It was totally all about the money for them. We had 1 nurse and 1 CNA that we trusted to take care of our mom. One of the CNA was a Caucasian gentle who my mom felt was very inappropriate with her. So we moved her out of there ASAP. Please do not take your loved one here, unless they are ready to die. The place was filthy and nasty. The place has roaches crawling around in every bathroom. I will be reporting this to The Joint Commission. They did barely any therapy with her so she left there the same why she came in unable to do anything. My mom is a diabetic they feed her no diabetic diet at all!!! They gave her cookies, cakes, chocolate pudding, the food was awful!!! If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!! The only other piece of mind my mom got was when she went to dialysis. She said the nursing there were very caring and concerning. Please find another place for mom other than Elevated Care Niles. Take her to CITADEL 15 minutes away in Glenview they were fabulous!!!
