It was my brother’s 70th birthday and I contacted the social worker to let her know that he would have visitors to celebrate his birthday. She informed the nursing staff and my brother was all dressed, smelling good, and looking so handsome. The nurse did a great job with him. The staff sung him Happy Birthday as they moved him to the community room. He was so surprised to see me from Florida, his brother, son, as well as all his close friends. We gathered in the community room with balloons and presents. He was able to FaceTime his daughters, another brother, aunts, uncles and several 1st cousins. I asked if he enjoyed his birthday and he said it was “WONDERFUL”. That put a smile on my face and in my heart! I want to thank the staff for the special loving care of Wellington Vessels. He is family there.

My mom was abused here on May 27th 2026. I received a called from a staff that my mom was found on the floor with covers over top of her. When the staff pulled the cover off she saw that her left eye was closed and no other details. It was no urgency, some staffs were rude and I discovered more bruises and knots. She was also bleeding from her private area. I have an open case and they are under investigation.

This has got to be one of the worst place from my experience. On many visit to my family member I found her wet, even to the mattress on one occasion. No one assist with feeding. She lie in bed most of the time. When you ask the aide for assistance it would be said that the work is hard. The place smells. The patient's that has no one to visit them, my heart goes out to them and the care they are receiving.

Worse place ever! Smells like pure pee all throughout the facility, elderly left alone, unattended, no medication control, nurses mistreat patients who can't speak or help themselves. Horrible and depressing place to bring your loved one.

For many years I have visited friends at this nursing home,and assisted living center for rehab, etc.. The one person who really stands out as someone who truly seems to care about the mental health of the residents, is the Activities Director, Shellie. Year round Shellie puts great effort and passion into a wide variety of activities, to keep the residents happy and engaged. She always seems happy to help, and you can't miss her, she's a tall blond with a presence that lights up the room. Keep doing great things to make others happy Shellie! Your work is really appreciated.(tina, david's friend)
