I have lived at Maplewood Park Place for 6 1/2 years during which time I have served on committees and as a member of the CO-OP Board. I attribute my good health to the high level of socialization and involvement. My wife of 65 years has Alzheimer's Disease and advanced dementia but she exhibits the quality of being content. I trust the community. I feel safe. My needs are elicited and accommodated whenever possible. I like my neighbors. I feel well cared-for by the staff and by each one's interest in avery aspect of our lives. The administration is cognisant of our our desires and expresses an interest in providing us with a high quality of life as though we were members of their families which, in one way, we really are. This is HOME and I feel so fortunate to be a resident of such a quality CCRC.

Maplewood is an upscale facility for seniors. It has independent units with one and two bedroom apartments. There's also assisted living and nursing care on the lower levels. The food is excellent and they have lots of activities. There are is a bus that takes you to church shopping and other trips

I cannot imagine who JS is or why they had such an unfortunate experience. I am grateful that I was here and not alone when my spouse of 73 years died. Thanks to the companionship and warmth of the residents and staff, it was much less traumatic than it could have been. I continue to appreciate being a resident of Maplewood.

Moving here four years ago was one of the best decisions my wife and I have ever made. Due to the warmth and friendliness of the resident community we soon became involved in the social life, activities, committee work and Board responsibilities. Throughout the pandemic we had no sense of loneliness or isolation. The food is superb. The management is competent, caring and congenial —which is reflected by hardworking, happy staff members who often go the extra mile to help a resident. This is a great place to live!
