Cooking With Mo (Cooking with Mo)
Jun 2026
Let me start this review by saying “any negative things that you have heard about COGIR of Potomac is 100% dated and inaccurate” – there is a new sheriff in town and her name is Keisha Ellis. This lady has single handedly taken it upon herself to completely elevate the COGIR brand (this placed used to be call Brandywine) in the face of recent events and past leadership being ineffective. If you have not been there in the last 30-45 days, you are missing out. Keisha has hired a brand new staff from the Director of the entire place to the nursing staff to the food/beverage staff to brand new accounting staff. All of these changes had been long overdue and welcome with open arms. The new staff is NOTHING like the past. I now get instant and competent responses with all of my inquiries ranging from minor maintenance items to billing to day to day operations. Keisha has changed the attitude and the culture of this place and all within a very short time frame. If you are looking for an amazing place for aging seniors with a staff that is super caring and responsive, then look no further – THIS IS THE PLACE! My mom has been here for several years and I can tell you that she has never been happier! I would be remiss if I didn’t do a shout out to Latoya. After months and months and months of trying to resolve simple billing issues, she has reconciliated my mom’s ledger within a week’s time. She is amazing to work with like the rest of the Brandywine staff. I feel super blessed that my mom is under such great care and oversight. Thank you Keish for all of your fantastic leadership and the changes that you have implemented. Your new staff is TRULY AMAZING!
