I have been visiting a friend at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Waugh Chapel. She arrived for rehabilitation after having surgery for a broken hip. I was incredibly pleased with the facility. The lobby and visiting areas are nicely furnished. Her room is big enough for several visitors and is quite comfortable for her stay. All of the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. They seem attentive to her needs and requests. Now keep in mind that I am on the outside looking in. Not being a family member, I am not privileged to know what is going on behind the scenes. I have been visiting her for 2 weeks now and the care has been consistent. From what I have observed, I would not have an issue with a family member at this facility.

Lets face it no one wants to go to rehab but I have to say we had a very good experience at this rehab facility with my mother in law. The place is clean and the staff are warm, friendly and super nice. The drs kept us informed. The PT staff were wonderful. The food wasn’t to her liking all the time so we just brought things for her to eat but all in all a good place for your loved ones to rehab

I had a wonderful experience at Waugh Chapel. I took a nasty fall and spent about 4 weeks in rehab. The PT and OT sessions with Oksana and Lori were exceptional in providing me with the correct methods to insure my returning home was safe. The medical staff was attentive and I was treated with respect. All in all, a positive experience.

I am writing to express concerns regarding the level of care and responsiveness at this facility based on a recent experience involving a family member in short-term rehabilitation. There have been repeated instances in which basic patient needs were not addressed in a timely manner, including delays in assisting individuals who are unable to move or reposition themselves independently. Situations like this present clear safety risks and should be a fundamental priority in any care setting. Additionally, there appear to be gaps in communication and follow-through among staff. On more than one occasion, requests were acknowledged but not acted upon within a reasonable timeframe. This lack of consistency raises concerns about overall coordination of care. These issues suggest opportunities for improvement in staffing responsiveness, patient monitoring, and internal communication. I strongly encourage facility leadership to review current protocols and ensure that appropriate standards of care are being consistently met. Families rely on rehabilitation centers to provide attentive, reliable care when they cannot be present. It is important that this trust is supported by consistent action and accountability. I would appreciate confirmation that these concerns are being reviewed and addressed.

Can't thank Autumn Lake Healthcare at Waugh Chapel enough for the wonderful care they're taking of our mother while she's at your facility for rehabilitation after an extended hospital stay. All of the doctors, nurses, and support staff have been absolutely fabulous and so kind! And the facility is so clean, it makes it a pleasure to have our mother there and know that she is cared for, well fed, and her surroundings are kept so clean and tidy! We just can't even say enough good things about this location and everyone we have encountered here!!! Thank you so much for all you do!!
