Thank you to Tom at ComforCare and his wonderful caregiver team for supporting my mother during her recuperation over the last 3 months. They have each patiently provided TLC and encouragement in addition to ensuring that my mother’s basic care needs were supported. My mother said: “I don’t know what I would have done without all their help.” Tom always communicated with me promptly, understood what we needed and is very compassionate and caring. I greatly appreciate all of his efforts to ensure my mother was very well cared for during this period. I will continue to stay in touch when my mother has future care needs. Thank you! 🙏 💕

I wanted to express my appreciation and share how incredible ComForCare has been for my sister and I in the love and care for my mother. They came in August of 2020 and Tom and Kim have been incredible in making sure my mother has had the care she has needed as challenges have advanced over the years for her in her aging process. Many times we needed extra care or someone to spend the night with mom and they always came through for us. The staff that has been placed with mom have been like family members to mom and us. We are always so comfortable to have them in our home and their extra care for mom and her well being shines through. Anyone that visits our home always comments on how nice the ComForCare caregivers are. Much appreciation from us to Tom for having great care for our family as well as great caregivers!!!

The folks at ComforCare are a Godsend! My Mom and her 2nd husband had wonderful, vibrant years traveling together and celebrating life until her Parkinson’s and his dementia started taking control, about 5 years ago. Work and the challenges of late teen daughters also meant almost no extra time to care for them. But then I remembered Tom and what I’d heard he was building in ComforCare. Soon wonderful ladies were providing loving care in their home! Now 24x7, three of them have truly become members of our family— we are so blessed!!

The ComForCare owners are caring individuals who diligently work to provide useful and needed services. I recommend this company. ComForCare provided care services for my mother who was living with my husband and me for approximately five years. Overall we found the company responsive and flexible to our changing needs and situations during this time. They provided services ranging from supporting my mom when she was using a walker and able to get around to when she became bedridden, including when she began receiving hospice care visits. Several of the home-care aides worked for a year or longer while others were more short-term. There were a few scheduling hiccups with a couple of the helpers; but any issues we faced were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. I felt I could rely on ComForCare to meet our needs.

My mother has been receiving services from ComforCare of Severna Park for a couple of years now. She started with six hours a day and now she is up to sixteen hours a day. I could not be happier with the services of this company. The main caregiver, Karen, communicates with me regularly and brings any concerns to my attention immediately. She sends me pictures of my mom several times a week and keeps me updated on how she is doing. She has gone above and beyond my expectations many times. One time, there was a leaky toilet and she stayed three hours past her scheduled time because the plumber hadn't finished his work. She said to me "I wasn't going to leave your mom in the house with some strange man." On her birthday, she decorated the dining room with balloons and streamers so that my mom would feel special on her day. These are just a couple of examples of how Karen treats my mom as if she is a member of her own family. My mom can be difficult and all of the caregivers care for her with patience and love. Although, I don't communicate with her other caregivers as much as Karen, they will text me if there is a question or concern. I visit her once a month and she is always well dressed and clean. The house is always clean as well. Karen sends me a food list every Monday and I order food from Giant to be delivered on Tuesday. So there is always food in the fridge when I visit. Tom, the owner, is also very communicative with me. I can always call him with questions, and he always contacts me if there is a problem. When my mom was in rehab, there was a confusion with a Dr. appt that she had to attend. Since there was no one scheduled to take her, Tom went with her and made sure that she got there safely. The ride home did not show up to take them back to the rehab facility, so Tom arranged a ride for her to get back to the facility safely. I am sure Tom had other plans for that day, but he did what was needed as he always does. He and Karen installed a gate at the top of my mom's stairs and Tom has changed the light on my mom's porch. When I brought my mom home from rehab, I couldn't carry her by myself to her room. I called Tom and he came right over to help me. Again, just a couple of examples of how wonderful this company is. They truly care about their patients and families. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for someone to help out with an elderly parent or friend.
