UPDATE: Since I’m unable to respond directly to their reply on my review, I want to clarify that I have contacted the facility repeatedly by phone and email and have received no meaningful follow-up. I specifically requested written communication because I am documenting this entire process. As the POA for my family member, I was simply trying to get answers on their behalf, especially because they expressed fear of retaliation. After I emailed the facility multiple times, they contacted my family member directly in a way that made them uncomfortable, then responded to me by stating that my family member was “their own responsible party,” while still failing to address any of the concerns I had raised. Once again, this facility has refused to take accountability or provide clear answers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The single star in this review is reserved solely for the occupational and physical therapy teams. Their professionalism and dedication made a meaningful difference in my family member’s recovery, and they deserve recognition for the care they provided. The rest of the experience at this facility was deeply concerning and fell far below acceptable healthcare standards. Upon admission, my family member was recovering from a serious infection and had a PICC line in place, in addition to a recent amputation. On multiple occasions, the nursing staff failed to maintain a proper cap on the PICC line—an essential component for preventing contamination and infection. This is not a minor oversight; it is a clear violation of basic sterile procedure, infection control protocols, and standard nursing care practices. Despite being brought to the attention of staff more than once, the issue was dismissed with explanations that supplies were unavailable, only for replacements to later appear. This pattern repeated several times over the course of the stay, raising serious concerns about both accountability and patient safety. The care of the amputation site was equally troubling. Clear, written instructions were provided by the treating physician outlining how the wound should be cleaned and dressed to prevent complications. These instructions were not consistently followed. Appropriate wound care measures were only observed when a follow-up appointment was imminent. Outside of that, prescribed protocols appeared to be disregarded. Additionally, despite explicit medical restrictions, my family member was permitted to ambulate when they should not have been, placing them at further risk of harm. Beyond these specific issues, there was a broader atmosphere of neglect and unease. Concerns voiced by residents about their treatment contributed to an environment that did not feel safe or professionally managed. This review is being shared only after discharge due to genuine concern about potential retaliation during the stay. Healthcare facilities are entrusted with the well-being of vulnerable individuals. That responsibility demands consistent adherence to medical instructions, strict infection control, and a culture of accountability. Based on this experience, those expectations were not met.

My experience is that the staff is friendly but a few issues may arise from time to time with Administrators fulfilling a resolve to a possible mishap. Like not responding to certain email in a timely fashion & addressing a question fully, etc.

Review: Extremely Disappointed in the Quality of Care I am writing this review to share my family’s distressing experience with this facility. My 97-year-old aunt, a resident in their care, was repeatedly neglected. On one occasion, she was left sitting in her own feces after calling multiple times for assistance — no one responded for hours. She also rang for pain medication four times overnight before it was finally administered at 5:35 a.m., an inexcusable delay for someone in pain and dependent on staff for help. Despite multiple calls and a promise from the Social Worker after a very contentious joint call with the Rehab Manager to personally follow up, she never contacted me. On another occasion, my aunt was left sitting in her wheelchair for over two hours, even after repeatedly asking to be helped back to bed. When I visited after in the day, I personally approached the nurses station and asked if someone would assist her back to the bed and was promised they would do so in a few minutes. I called my Aunt when I arrived home 75 minutes later to find out she was still in the wheelchair. This level of neglect and lack of communication is unacceptable for any patient, especially for someone of her age and vulnerability. Families entrust their loved ones to these facilities expecting compassion, respect, and timely care — none of which were provided here. I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to think carefully and look elsewhere for more attentive and humane care.
