5 stars. my 84 year old mom came to footsteps memory care here after her dementia was too much to manage after my dad passed. the place is nice/new/cheerful, the people are friendly and seems to be very good at doing their job of managing my mom's day to day. thanks you all!

We live in Sherwood and have been invited to two events at The Springs, a beautiful senior living community. We have attended their art show and Mother’s Day Tea. We were so impressed with both. The art show included works by area artists and the residents. We chatted with one resident who shared that he never knew he had any artistic ability until he joined an art class there. We were also very impressed with the Tea; a culinary delight created by their in-house chefs, with beautifully set tables. A few comments we heard by their residents…they love it and feel safe there and praised their Director, Amanda Sanchez, for her care. “She anticipates rather than reacting to problems. She’s always on top of things!” They also love being within walking distance to Old Town Sherwood. We have personally benefited from The Springs reaching out to the Sherwood community; it says a lot about their investment in Sherwood, and we are so grateful to have seen what they do first hand!

My parents have lived at The Springs at Sherwood for 5 years in both independent and now assisted living and they are very happy. The entire staff from the front desk receptionist to the dining room servers, the caregivers, and med techs, the housekeepers, the transportation staff, the activities coordinators and the executive leadership are outstanding! There are many activities to keep the residents engaged and busy, the food is good and care giving is top notch! Problems are addressed quickly when they arise. They go out of their way to make sure the residents and their family members feel at home and welcome. If you or a loved one is considering a senior living residence I highly recommend The Springs at Sherwood.

We here at Alpine House are very impressed with the compassion, integrity, and strong sense of community the .Springs at Sherwood. provides to its residents. What truly stands out is how deeply connected they are to the community they serve and how intentionally they preserve that sense of belonging even after a resident moves into their care.<br><br>They recently referred a long-term resident to Alpine House when her medical needs became too complex for their setting, and we were very touched by the honesty, thoughtfulness, and genuine concern they showed throughout that transition.<br>It takes true professionalism and compassion to recognize when a resident may benefit from a higher level of specialized care and to prioritize the resident’s wellbeing above all else.<br><br>What has impressed us even more is that their relationship with the resident did not end after the move. Their team and even their executive director continued to visit regularly, demonstrating that the bonds formed with residents are sincere, meaningful, and lasting. That level of ongoing connection and humanity is rare and speaks volumes about the culture they have created.

The staff is highly professional and resident-oriented, they definitely deliver on the promises in the brochures. The facility is beautifully appointed with high quality features with an emphasis on comfort, accessibility, safety and efficiency. Residents are treated with utmost respect in an atmosphere of inclusiveness and caring. Responses to resident concerns are quick and appropriately handled. There is a wonderful feeling of community here at The Springs where we residents feel empowered to be heard, and the expectation of individualism is alive and well. Yes, the price is high, but we get what we pay for. This is definitely the right place for me!
