We can’t say enough wonderful things about The Estates at Bloomington, Minnesota. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and genuine care the staff provide.<br><br>Our father was admitted after hip fracture surgery, and they took incredible care of him from day one, that meant everything to us. The caregivers were not only attentive to his needs, but also genuinely kind and patient with him. They made sure he was comfortable, treated him with dignity, and took the time to build real relationships with him. It never felt rushed or impersonal, even though he does not speak much English.<br><br>What really stands out is the people. The staff go above and beyond to make residents feel at home, and it shows in the way they interact with everyone there. My father was in a non-movable, almost vegetative state, completely bedridden, when he arrived, and just weeks later he was able to leave walking on his own with the help of a walker. That kind of care and dedication is truly remarkable.<br><br>Communication with families is also excellent, they kept us informed and involved, which gave us so much peace of mind. Knowing our dad was in such a supportive and caring environment made a difficult time so much easier.<br><br>I would highly recommend Bloomington Estates to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and high-quality assisted living community. Truly an outstanding place!

I have a friend that's been there for a few years now and she's happy. It's a nursing home that's comfortable and well run. My dad spent about a month there for assessment prior to his transfer to an assisted living facility in Edina. Transitional care is one of their main functions

My dad was in this place but not for long. Horrible situation going on here. First thing you need to know my dad is completely helpless. He can't walk and he is legally blind. My dad came to my house for the day. Metro mobility dropped him off in the morning and picked him up at 4:00 p.m. to bring him back to the estate. My dad carries his cell phone on him, we tried calling him when He got back to the nursing home he didn't answer, we tried calling the main number nobody answered. At 7:15 that night I went there to see what was going. I walked in his room and saw my dad still wearing his winter coat 3 hours later. I saw the nurse standing and talking with my dad's roommate in the room. My dad was still in his winter jacket which was wet from water he must have spilled on him self. My dad was in a huge puddle of water underneath his wheelchair, I walked in the water when I walked in the room. so I know the nurse saw it too, he did nothing for my dad. My dad was almost falling out of his chair. He was burning up with a fever. I took his hat off told the nurse this is unacceptable !!! My dad's been sitting in the spot since 4:10 with his winter coat and hat on that was wet for hours. My dad was talking different you could clearly see there was something wrong. I told the nurse to call an ambulance numerous times that my dad was sick something's going on. My dad has an infection or something is wrong. I ended up calling an ambulance .The nurse couldn't explain to me why my dad was still in his jacket and why he was sitting in water. The nurses do not know their patients nor do they have time to even speak to them. If your loved one is completely helpless they don't help them at all. Completely incompetent. My dad had a high heart rate and fever. He was taken to the hospital where they found out, he had sepsis and a bladder infection. Even the ambulance people were shaking their head at the situation. My dad was literally in a huge puddle of water his coat drenched with water, a male nurse in the room who did nothing!! horrible sight to see my poor dad being ignored and disregarded to his face. My dad's worked his entire life to be treated like this in America is absolutely ridiculous such disregard for our elderly is pathetic!!! This place should be shut down. I feel sorry for anyone that has to go to this place. If their loved one is helpless like my dad there is know help, only incompetent, inhumane, egregious behaviors of staff who ignore our helpless elderly. I moved him out that night!!! To the Estate If you are unable to care for "helpless" elderly" people you shouldn't be taking them into your facility "SHAME" on you!!!. You knew exactly what my father required and still you failed him and his family about the care he wasn't going to receive from your staff. Whom you claim to be excellent!!! I did not see excellent that night!!!! Only incompetent inhumane egregious behaviors. "SHAME" I left a message that night for a nurse to call me back it's 4 days later still no call back unbelievable. Like I said unacceptable. There's know doubt in my mind if I wouldn't of went there that night my dad would know no longer be here today!!!

II highly recommend to go elsewhere unless you like like mice running up and down hallways ants lots of ants in the rooms food is terrible I got sick several x eating mystery meat there is drinking and partying going on ! The place is filthy ! I was there 3 + months and had 3 showers in that amount of time ! Many residents are very unhappy there! Therapy is a joke every time I had it iwas coded differently on my bill ! I believe I was being charged for services I never received ! I would definitely recommend any other place make sure you do your homework this place needs so much up dating it should not be available as a place for transition for the people who actually need help 0 stars !!

This place is disgusting the STATE SHOULD SHUT THIS NAsty UNHYGENIC PLACE is not fit for a cat dog or ferret I’m calling the state to inspect this nasty no pads no decent food served here the food is dog food vomit don’t put your family in here
