If you are reading this then you are most likely at a place in your life where you are making some tough choices. I can honestly say that Brookdale at Weddington was a port in a storm for our family. I could never really picture my Dad in assisted living, but as soon as my sister and I walked into Brookdale we felt immediately at home. It was peaceful and friendly and felt homey. Kathleen was genuinely caring and understanding and worked with both of my parents to guide us through this tough decision. Once Dad was settled in we were surprised how content and happy he was! With assigned seating at meals he immediately made friends, and he absolutely adored the staff. The staff at Brookdale is incredible; every single person from management, to maintenance, to meals, to caretaking, is kind hearted and actually genuinely cares. It is amazing how many times folks went out of their way, and went above and beyond, to accommodate our family. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

My mom is a resident at Brookdale Weddington Park and it was a very hard decision for my dad and I to make to put her in an assisted living community. She has been there almost 6 months now and we are very pleased with the care that she gets. Kathleen took time to meet with us to determine our needs and find the perfect room for my mom. The residents there have been so kind and welcoming. The staff has taken such good care of my mom. She has Parkinson’s and needs a lot of extra care in doing daily tasks. Mom participates in all kinds of activities and special events on and off property that have enriched her quality of life. It truly feels like a family/community there and it was an answer to our prayers!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Both my grandmother and dad stayed there, each for several years. The staff is so nice and provide excellent care. I like that it is a smaller facility, offering more personalized support and services. The communication was always great and the events and activities they planned for their residents just showcased how much they really did (and do) care about everyone there. I would highly recommend considering Brookdale Weddington Park if you have someone who needs assisted memory care.

WOW.....when you walk into Brookdale Weddington Park you can feel very welcomed, the warmth welcoming of the staff including the Executive Director Jennifer F. & Angela L. & Kathleen R. & most importantly the residents that gather together to call this place their home. You will not need to look any further as I rate this Assisted Living Facility 5-Stars! You will not be disappointed.

My Aunt resided at Brookdale Carriage Club for a year. When it was time for her to move to assisted living, I visited many facilities both in the Brookdale network and also those owned by other companies. After several visits to Brookdale Weddington I decided this was the place where my Aunt needed to live. I was impressed with the input from the staff. I also observed the residents interacting with staff and each other. She has been here 7 months. The staff and management have all been helpful and responsive to my requests. Everyone has a bright, happy attitude. This is my Aunts home and she is being cared for with dignity and respect. The activities staff has been great about encouraging her to participate in activities and actually coming to her room to remind her. The facility is kept clean and orderly. I am happy with my decision - I can rest easily knowing that the professional staff is monitoring her and meeting her needs.
