My loved one stayed here, and our family had a very positive experience. The staff treated them with kindness, patience, and respect, and it gave us a lot of comfort knowing they were in good hands. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, and you could truly see that the team cares about the residents and their well-being. My loved one received great care during their stay, and we are very thankful to the staff at Aviata at the Bay for making a difficult time feel much easier for our family. I would definitely recommend them to others looking for skilled nursing care.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for Aviata at The Bay, who cared for my husband, Bobby, throughout his rehab. Especially, Rose Uroro APRN who brought warmth, patience, and genuine compassion to every interaction. She took the time to listen, explain, and reassure both of us, which made a difficult period feel far less overwhelming. Her dedication and kindness had a meaningful impact on Bobby’s recovery, and we are incredibly grateful for her. Everyone were great!

We are incredibly grateful for the **outstanding care** provided to my father-in-law. The dedicated staff and supportive environment at Avaita at the Bay truly made a difference in his recovery especially the APRN Rose Usoro who was amazing.

I have been here since 2014. I have seen lots of employees come and go. I really do appreciate the employees we have.Wound care nurses Ava and Ladonna or A+. CNA's are great. The therapy team is terrific and most importantly the administration team is wonderful. The facility make sure everyone is okay and provide with great care .

This center should be closed! There is a serious lack of patient care. My son was sent here for physical therapy after surgery and I understand the facility operates for Medicaid . The following itemizes only a few of the issues encountered: No one ever answers the telephone at the nurses station on the second floor. The response to the nurses call button is extremely slow or at times non existent. My son got an infection in his sutures due to lack of wound care. The doctor had to specifically order wound care daily. He developed an upper respiratory infection during his 42 day stay. Wrong medications were given to patient. This was reported to the doctor who notified the head of nursing. The CNA could not locate a thermometer to take temperature. We purchased one and marked with his name. There is an extreme language barrier. It sometimes take two nurses and or CNA’s time to understand a question or an issue. Very inefficient. The patient was told on a Friday night that he would be seen with a nurse the next morning when she came in. Does this mean no nurse was available. The room was crawling with German roaches. This was reported and the exterminator sprayed but there were still roaches after the extermination. The unit manager on the second flood was good at providing lip service but totally unaware of the patient progress. At the care management meeting she advised us the patient was not yet walking but in-fact he had been for about a week. She actually called the physical therapist to confirm my statement. I felt like she was calling me a liar. In the same meeting, I advised the team of the issue with the wrong medications and that it was reported to the nursing supervisor. She left the room to confirm. Again, i felt like she was calling me a liar. This meeting was held at least 2 weeks after the wrong medication was delivered. I am not sure of her role but she was not helpful. The food is terrible, I had to bring food or have it delivered when I was not available. On a good note, the front desk was always helpful. Thank you! Physical therapy was ok but not a lot was provided during his stay. The doctor helped me keep my sanity wad was always available and willing to help. I am so glad this experience is over. I have made so much more progress in 8 days and 4 in home therapy sessions than my whole stay there, by far. I’m getting my life back, no thanks to Aviata at the Bay!
