I am not liking that I can't talk to a loved one who is staying here and I have been talking to my Aunt texted her and calling her cell phone and I will keep trying her cell phone because her daughter who has control over who can visit or talk to her is wrong because her daughter doesn't even go to visit her her own mother that's messed up but let me find out that she had her phone taken from her so she can't talk to anyone I will have your local police station have a police officer come there to see how my Aunt is being treated and asked her what happened to her cell phone so she can at least talk to the family that dose care about her well being and for the nurse to hang up on me my name is Rose Marie Young and I will keep calling her cell phone number and she better be able to answer the call because I'm not one of her kids that don't care about her at all they just care about themselves well you're all growing up you will see exactly what you're mom was wanting to see you when she needs you remember you all have kids and I believe in what goes around comes back around and I plan on making time to go visit her and I live in Lakeland Florida if I can't get in Just because of her daughter doesn't have me on the list I love you Anne Paulette CUNNINGHAM your niece Rose Marie Young Always it hurts me that I can't talk to you

I was placed in this facility after a cycling accident in early November, I had multiple rib fractures & a fractured pelvis. My insurance covered me for 3 local facilities and this one seemed like the best of the bunch. I must say that the nursing staff is very good and handled large patient loads with compassion & integrity- especially Erin, Clarisse, Perry & Vallery.
The PT & OT staff were also top notch and they worked with me on specific goals- I.E going to the bathroom by myself then walking with a walker and finally being discharged! After a month.
Now for the negatives:
The facility itself is outdated, the bathrooms are too small to accommodate maneuvering with a wheelchair, also my space in a shared room was also very small and maneuvering was difficult, couldn’t open the closet door with the room door open. Tap water is given instead of bottled water- I know bottled water is expensive but how bout investing in a few $30 water filter pitchers? After a while I had water delivered in. When I finish paying off all my deductible medical bills I plan on gifting one to the facility.
I am now incurring out of network costs. It would’ve been nice to know that the lady who came in and asked me what my pain was on a scale of 1-10 was out of my network and was going to bill me $200 in a few weeks!!!
Mellissa in marketing was very helpful and would try to improve my patient experience.
Overall I felt that the facility due to the nature of the majority of its patients, operates more like a nursing home than a rehabilitation facility and there should be more of a separation in type of care. I was constantly having to explain to different staff members my injuries and that “YES” I planned on getting healed and going home. I had all my witts about me - was not heavily medicated and was able to work remotely on my laptop- but didn’t necessarily feel like I was treated like that.
I know running a facility like this is extremely difficult but like in any business- you can always do better.!
I’d be happy to explain more in detail if you wish!
Howard R. At first I was a little hesitant about going to this place. But after a day or two I felt like I was part of the staff. Everybody was wonderful to work with and easy to talk to. I cannot think of one staff member that I could say something negative about. Melissa, Gloria, Marvin, Byron, Regina and Marshall are absolutely amazing people to be around. I couldn’t ask for a better group of employees to help take care of their clients. They also answered every question I had, and did not complain one time when I needed something. I would recommend this facility and staff to everybody.

I was in the process of making a delivery to a customer of mine. It was after closing hours and I could not access the facility and so it became necessary for one of the staff members to come outside and get the order to the patient. The individual opened the front door halfway through and gave me the passcode necessary to mark the order as delivered.

As he proceeded to tell me the passcode he let the front door loose. Being unaware of the alarm due to the door staying open for a prolonged period of time, I kept it open because I wanted to let the staff member know of something about the order. He proceeded to tell me twice to let the door close before pushing my hand off the handle. The individual reopened the door and only after did he explain to me the matter of the alarm.

As I was leaving I did advise him to be more mindful of such gestures as they can be misinterpreted by a large share of people. That’s when the employee grew agitated and what started as simple offense led to the most repulsive behavior that I’ve ever encountered.

He first started by making remarks towards my actions, judging the way that I didn’t blindly abide by his directions. I did my best to calm the situation by reasoning with him but to no avail. As this continued for a brief time, profanity started to pave the way. Hearing those words was too difficult to bear and so I started to make my way out hoping that this would end the whole ordeal. The employee then proceeded to follow me issuing threats of physical violence.

It was at this moment that I pulled my phone out and started recording. You can clearly see the employee making his way towards me in a threatening manner and stopping, turning around and leaving only when the camera starts rolling. He then poceeds to issue discriminatory remarks and goes on to say that he'll "get me" if the said video is to be seen anywhere in a social media. The only present witness is seen repeteadly dennying the very act that transpired the whole interaction - the employee pushing my hand away from the door handle which can be seen clearly if security cameras are present where the event took place.

Such a breach code of conduct is unacceptable under any moral, ethical and legal framework. Because I acknowledge the fact that one individual can in no way shape or form represent the moral diligence of an entire workplace, I will refrain from taking any action that will hurt your brand reputation in the short term. Nor do I think this matter is deserving of legal consequences. However, this course of action in my end is subject to change based on the consideration of your disciplinary measures. Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews. There is no proof that they are actual Tenants. My guess is, that they have their employees go on the web and leave positive reviews. I worked for plenty of Companies that did that! If you want true answers read the negative reviews and see how many others agree with the negative ones by the amount of thumbs up they receive! Their positive reviews couldn't be further from the truth! My Mother was found dead! They revived her and sent her to the furthest possible hospital. While she was in there (for leg strenghthening only) I NEVER seen her in the rehab room. I was there all different days and times of day. Not once did I see her w/ a physical therapist! When I inquired about it I was given the runaround. Told to come back to the therapy room on a Wednesday when "her" Phys Therapist was there. I went back Wednesday, the room was locked. When you ask questions everyone acts dumb! Every time I went there my Mom was so over medicated it was ridiculous! She didn't need medication at all!!!! I just needed her legs stronger so I could take her home and she could stand when I washed and changed her. They are only interested in money. They drug the patients so they don't bother them, and just take the insurance money. That is ALL THEY CARE ABOUT. People are wandering the halls stoned. Every time I went to visit my Mom she was looking under the bedding for her dog. She NEVER acted like that at home. Sadly my Mom passed away of a massive heart attack, even though she never had heart issues. She was there bc of a fall. If you want to keep your loved ones alive, stay away from this place! The pictures are also totally deceiving. It's an ugly place! But this is where you're sent when you have limited insurance coverage. You get what you pay for. My Mother was there for weeks, and her hair was greasy and she smelled. They don't even bathe the patients!!
