I’ll be honest—I was absolutely horrified to send my mom here after reading some of the reviews. I was expecting the worst. But my experience has actually been very different. While the rooms may be a bit outdated and not all staff come across as especially friendly at first, what truly matters is the care—and in that regard, they have taken good care of my mom. She’s been safe, attended to, and treated with the attention she needs. At the end of the day, that’s what matters most to me, and I can genuinely say I have no complaints about the care she’s received.

Aviata at Central Park has been great to the family member I have living there. I hear they're even supportive of her being transgender and coming out for the first time in their facility. I'm very grateful for them taking great care of my Brittany.

First of all, no one wants to put a family member in a facility. Sometimes circumstances are beyond control. With that being said, my brother and I looked at minimum 10 facilities before choosing Aviata Central Park. It was Aspire Central Park when he was placed there and was later changed to Aviata. The reason we chose this facility is that there was a different feeling there.(than the many other places we visited) The residents were out in the hall moving around. We saw the therapist working with the patients and fortunately the facility was just minutes away from my brother. The facility itself was not the newest, nicest, most up to date, the difference was the people. Dad made friends there! It was heartwarming to see. He found a “girlfriend” maybe a couple even, but they always greeted each other, wave across the lunchroom. He found a best friend in one of his roommates who continued to come visit him weekly even after he moved over to the assisted living area. It made it feel less stressful knowing dad had friends there when we were not there. Dad was there for about a year making progress and had another stroke which eventually lead to his passing. Since then I find I miss many of the therapists, nurses and CNAs that cared for him. I will say, not every person that works there is great. Just like any other business, some do just what they have to do, some are more caring than others but for the most part my father was better cared for there than we could’ve cared for him at home. The facility itself needs new equipment such as the hoyer lift. The beds and furniture need to be updated and there are MANY repairs that need to be done. The water has to run for a long time before it gets warm. The patients do not enjoy the shower room as it’s very cold. As I mentioned before it sincerely is the people who make the difference. Some of people who stand out to us who really made a difference in my father’s care was Elizabeth his speech therapist, Kristina a nurse who was there to help with O2 for dad’s roommate but also looked in on dad as well, Bani CNA, Mckayla CNA, Jessica nurse, Chasity who checked in and helped us with the menus, Carmen CNA, Anissa CNA, Betsy CNA and I know there are others who’s names I’m having difficulty recalling. So, five stars for the people who cared for my dad! This is not an easy job to do. It takes strength, physically, mentally and emotionally.

It is a great facility as a whole because my father has made leaps and bounds in his care there with the nurses. My only concern is their lack of communication. when they tell you that they’re going to call you when they get results and things back and they failed to do so. And when you try to call and nobody answers, and if they do answer, you are on hold for quite a while.

This facility has been so much better since it has become Aviata! Not only is it much cleaner now but the new staff are all so very kind! Chasity is the best she makes sure the patients are doing well and have every thing they need!!! Every day she makes her way up and down the hall to visit every room and when she walks in a room her smile and gratitude light up the whole room❤️ her service definitely is appreciated! Ms Alma and Ms Marlona directors of the activities program are so sweet and caring they make sure the residents are amused and comfortable with their recreational time. I am very satisfied with my clients care I know they are in good hands when I leave . Thank you Aviata for taking such good care of them🙏❤️
