My mom had been at Penfield Willow Ridge (then Atria Penfield) since January 2021 and they have been nothing but accommodating in every way. Although the name on the sign has changed, the staff and faculty are still outstanding!<br>When my mom needed a placement, I called 5 different Communities and was having no luck until Meghan Fix (who was very considerate and helpful) recommended this facility. Jeanette Cooper was Unbelievably Amazing! She was kind, caring, sympathetic to my mom’s (and my) needs. She immediately was very eager to help to make sure my mom became successful. Nicole Gardner came and interviewed my mom and our lives have never been better! Gina and Nicole are very quick to call back and discuss any problem that I may address. Jason was able to bring my mom out of her room and join community activities more, which was a concern for me. His comment to me was “I love them” and it shows. Lynn is remarkable and makes sure my mom showers.The staff go above and beyond to make her comfortable, satisfied and very happy: including asking what meals she likes, setting up her cable with phone, arranging her furniture, fixing a grandfather clock that she broke, taking care of the dog food so she doesn't over feed him, help finding a mobile pet groomer, going into her room several times to fix the Alexa that she keeps touching which disconnects it, even shoveling a snow path to the window so we could have a window visit (because of Covid we couldn’t go inside to see her), changing her laundry day to the day I’m there (whenever that may be), and there is so much more. I was happy that this was where my mom called home.<br><br>Once again, the Village at Penfield/Willow Ridge has come to my rescue!<br>My mom fell in August and was taken to Strong Hospital. Strong’s social worker was trying to send my mom to any rehab facility. To assist me in finding a reputable rehab, Nicole Gardner called Strong’s social worker. She also reached out multiple times to Clifton Springs, Newark, Penfield and Canandaigua for me. She didn’t give up. Jeanette Cooper made calls for me even though she doesn’t work in the Penfield facility any longer.<br>My mom ended up in Clifton rehab. MVP insurance discharged my mom, but the rehab facility felt she was not ready. Nicole was there for me, once again with constant phone calls and conversations with Clifton rehab in order to work with them to release my mom. Gina, Nicole and Shelly were persistent in getting mom “home”. When she was finally released from Clifton she was in tears knowing she was going home! My mom was met by her friends when she got home with hugs, kisses and tears. I received a call from Jason expressing how mom is right back into the routine of her day and he couldn’t be more excited.<br><br>As time passes Willow Ridge has changed management and is no longer the facility that it was five years ago. Some of these employees are no longer here and work in different locations. It is bittersweet.<br>My mom has more memory care needs and she will be moving.

Our beautiful mother June was a resident at this facility and has recently passed 😥 but I can’t say enough about how wonderful everyone has been during her entire stay ! Everyone was compassionate, caring and so loving during her journey. Many thanks to the nurse team, facility workers, everyone in the kitchen area including the cooks and servers and especially Angelo who always showed thoughtfulness to all and last the head office personnel who were absolutely amazing in taking care of everyone ! Special thanks to Nicole and Jason for their incredible commitment to the team and entire facility. This by far is the best place for any senior to live their later years in the entire area. Please consider this wonderful establishment because your family will not regret it !!

Management is great,our residents are content and they keep their independence under great supervision and care.<br>This place is amazing to their employees and happy employees bring happiness and positivity to all.<br>Its not easy to put your loved one in someone elses care but i can assure you to atleast try and you wont be disappointed !
