My mother and all of us children can’t say enough great things about The Village at Towngate Assisted Living staff and Facility! Jay the Community Relations Director and Sheila the Executive Director are 2 of the most caring people we’ve ever met! They are absolutely fantastic, as well as the nurses, chefs, caregivers! Not only do they care about our loved one(s) but also that your loved one and the entire family are fully accommodated for! Jay, Sheila and the entire staff are easily accessible! The facility staff and residents are one big family!! Everyone is so amazing and friendly! The food is out of this world, cooked to order and all fresh!! My mother loves the desserts!! Bingo is her favorite activity! We are so thankful we’ve found The Village at Towngate! Major KUDOS TO JAY AND SHEILA and their amazing staff! This couldn’t have been a better transition for my mother and all of us from Independent Living to Assisted Living!

This is not an assisted living facility- it is an adult living facility. This means there is no RN on staff. I was not aware of this until my mom took a fall and needed medical attention. I was assuming a nurse would be checking in on her regularly after being in the hospital overnight . There are no procedures in place for re-entry into the facility. She was given a prescription in the hospital for an infection, which the facility had not given her until 2 days later- only because I questioned the staff about it. Long story short, don’t expect this facility to do much medically . After 2 days of no attention by the staff, she was admitted to the hospital again, this time with hypovolemia and encephalopathy. Do not trust this nursing staff to care for your loved one. I did really enjoy the staff , other than the nursing department.

My mom is receiving exceptional care which is helping her adjust to assisted living. The staff welcomes and includes family in the residents care and assisting with their individual needs. I highly recommend The Village at Towngate for your loved one♥️

When time came to place my mom in assisted living, we looked at several places.  However, I knew that Village at Town Gate was the one and only place for her.  Just walking in, it felt very homey and safe.  Every single one of the staff members are kind, friendly and loving.  My mom settled in and adjusted better than I expected.  I believe this is because of the wonderful staff.  I sleep great at night knowing she is in the BEST hands. Highly recommend anyone in need of assisted living.

When we learned my mother could no longer live independently, we worried about what a new living situation might look like for her. We discovered The Village at Towngate, and are so grateful for the caring community there. Residents are treated with kindness and respect. There are activities for all ages and abilities, and because it is not a large facility, the staff gets to know each resident and their needs. The property is well-cared for - both the interior of the building as well as the communal space outside. My mother has enjoyed warm fellowship and fun outings, and we feel assured she's receiving the support and care she needs. Families and visitors are welcomed warmly, and we see the staff go out of their way to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all. The Village at Towngate is everything we hoped for, and more, for my mom!
