Came in a few times to see residents. Had issues with one specific CNA, Asia. She was repeatedly disrespectful to residents right infront of me at the dining room. This is also the same girl that outted my spouse to the entire facility and talked such crap about him. The residents there are great. They truly deserve the best but with the CNA's they have there, they don't get the care they deserve and it's truly sad. My spouse now no longer works there and I personally am very worried these residents won't be treated with the kindness they deserve.
Hamilton Manor is definitely in need of upgrading but the staff makes up for it.
Starting with the Administrator: he is very sincere & listens to any concerns or problems & then takes action to resolve them.
He visits the dining room every day & talks to each resident to see how they are doing.
The Social Worker: she's always there to help you with questions or problems & does her best to solve them while keeping everything private. Will never share private information.
The Finance Director: she takes care of any financial questions you may have or problems with your account.
The Activities Director: She makes sure there are activities every day for the residents, decorates for all seasons & holidays & publishes calendars & newsletters. Always makes the building look happy.
Kitchen Staff: they make sure all residents are served their proper diets and checks with them to make sure needs are met.
Nurses & Aides: they are very knowledgeable in caring for each individual. Some are better then others, but you'll find that anywhere. They take the time to make the resident comfortable whether they are in their rooms or elsewhere & help feed them if need be.
Physical Therapy: these individuals have the patience & equipment to help residents with special needs. They set up schedules & work with the residents to hopefully achieve their goals.
Maintenance: these individuals have their work cut out for them from fixing things to cleaning up after meals, keeping the building clean and to making sure things are working correctly.
On the whole, Hamilton Manor is a very nice place for your loved one.They get the best of care even though it's quite old and needing updating. My husband's been there for 2 years and I'm quite happy with the care he's gotten.
Our mother was able to spend the last five years of her life happy, comfortable, and deeply cared for after the staff at Hamilton Manor welcomed her into their family. In all that time, we never had a single negative experience. Every staff member who cared for her went out of their way to make her feel special, valued, and loved.
During the final two weeks of our mother’s life, we were able to stay with her around the clock, and it allowed us to truly witness the relationships she had built with the staff. Every person who entered her room had a nickname for her, inside jokes, and stories to share. They brushed her hair, changed her clothes with the utmost care, stayed on top of her medications, kept her room spotless, and made sure our family was comfortable with food and drinks.
More than that, they sat with us. They held not only her hand, but ours. They laughed with us, cried with us, hugged us, and helped guide us through each day. They made the hardest time of our lives more bearable, and we will forever remember the compassion and love you showed—not only to our mother, but to our family.

My mom wet to hamilton manor for rehab, once she got there it did not take much time at all for her to say she liked it and wanted to stay. She finally found the place that she wanted to call home. She made so many friends there and was so happy. A big relief to me just to see her smile. The staff are all wonderful and friendly, I just don't have enough words to explain. Nurse's and aids were friendly and kind, kitchen staff always asked if you wanted anything I could go on and on. The ladies in the front office wonderful, Amy, I will never forget all the love you gave my mom. Thank you to everyone at Hamilton Manor, your the best.
My 85 year old father with Parkinson’s was at Hurlbut Hamilton Manor for 4 weeks of physical therapy after a fall. The Social Worker was very supportive and helpful. She kept me updated on all aspects of my father’s recovery. The physical therapist and her team were wonderful. They shared the therapy plans with me and explained what each element would do with helping in my father’s recovery. My father loved the Aids and Cleaning Staff. They took the time to personally get to know him and indulged him in looking at family photos. The Nurses were diligent and kind. He was disappointed in the variety of food, but was happy to have his hair cut.
The facility was clean, comfortable, and his private room was cheerily decorated. My father was there through the Christmas season; enjoying the events that took place and participating in group activities.
I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and facility. I have and will continue to recommend the Hamilton Manor to friends. Thank you everyone! (My father, Dave, misses you!)
