Both of my parents were recently discharged from rehab, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was kind, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to work with. A special thank you to the 2nd floor nurses, Jeff the Unit Manager, Victoria the Social Worker, all of the therapy staff, and especially the support staff, who always treated my parents with compassion and respect. Everyone took the time to answer our questions and emails, and we always felt informed and supported. Thank you all for making a challenging time a little easier for our family. We truly appreciate the care you provided.

It’s nice here, it’s clean and quiet. The staff promote compassion; there are staff here that go above and beyond for me. Some of the staff feel like family, you can tell they want to be here. The rehab is great; they do really good work always encouraging you to try to push you to get the best you can be. The staff is consistent and I’ve had staff who have been with me since day one. I would recommend anyone come to Village Crest. I’ve been in 3 other facilities and Village Crest is definitely better than all the others.

Village Crest is a great facility. The staff makes me feel involved. Yesterday I helped bring cake down to the second floor. The residents were all happy that I was helping and it wasn't a staff member. I also read the chronicle every day. Everyone here is wonderful and really helpful. If you have a problem they will listen and try their best. The place is really nice and clean too

I really like the people here. I have been here for many years. I met some good residents. I met someone who is in the navy and I am in the air force. I get along with the people here. The administrator has taken me to different hotdog and hamburger restaurants for my birthday. I really liked it because I have never been to all of these Connecticut towns. I really appreciated that. The administrator really goes out of his way for the residents. Each of the administrators improved the facility more and more. The nurses and CNAs take good care of me.

My name is Amanda. I come regularly to visit my dad Chris. As soon as I enter the building I am always kindly greeted by one of the staff members at the front desk. All of the staff members are friendly and helpful. They know my dad is a picky eater and accommodate him with something he requests, which always makes me happy and laugh a little. When I visited him with my sister at Christmas time, the lobby area was so beautifully decorated, that I asked the gentleman at the front desk to take some pictures in front of the trees. He did without hesitation and they came out wonderfully. It's always a pleasure coming to Village Crest. My only complaint is that you are out of the stickers on the sign in machine. One of my favorite things was to make funny faces in the screen and then stick the photos to my dad's room wall. He gets a good kick out of them haha Thank you so much for all that you do!
