My wife has been in quite a few convalescent facilities over the past 20 years. Stone Bridge Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Newtown is by far superior to any other facility. The facility is beautiful and clean, the help is courteous and kind , the physical therapy is excellent and she likes the food . BDH

Very friendly and helpful staff. My husband did very well with Physical Therapy there after heart surgery. The PT department was great and the therapists were excellent. In addition the following employees at Stonebridge were excellent too-April the administrator was so helpful as was Kim, Lydia from nursing, and Chuck (maintenance) and others too.

If I could give 10 stars to this facility I would. My mother had 2 stays at Stone Bridge after multiple strokes. Each time was better than the time before. From the entire Physical Therapy department, who helped her walk again, to the nursing department who kept me informed of every medication change, to social services who made the transition home easy for us. I would like to thank every nurse, recreation staff, CNA, house keeping, dietary and maintenance staff who was so instrumental in getting my mom back to health. I sincerely appreciate all their efforts and would recommend this facility to anyone.

Based on my own experience at Stone Bridge last November/December I had no reservations having my wife admitted for her therapy. Your staff is top notch. God Bless you all.

Placing a family member is such a difficult thing to do but seeing how happy and well cared for our family member is makes a world of difference to us. None of the facilities we visited were even close to the excellence we found with this facility. I have worked in some nursing facilities and was a visitor in others and my mother and siblings and I saw how our father who had dementia was treated in two different facilities. It was Disgusting, so our expectations weren’t very high. We immediately noticed upon first arriving that my family member is clean and well cared for and seems really happy here. The staff is tremendous! They all are very nice and there is a lot of help available. The facility is one of the nicest and cleanest we have seen and we believe it is secure for a person with memory loss. The assistance at mealtime is excellent and we were happy to be made aware of the amount of food that was consumed and amazed someone was watching intake. My family and I appreciate the care plan updates by the team. We know this facility was the right decision for our family member and for us. Thank you for this opportunity to share our thoughts and experience.
