How on Earth anyone could leave a positive review is beyond me. My lengthy, factual review from a couple days ago has been buried somehow. Stay very far from this place!!! There are a few shining stars : Sharon, Rose and DeBorah as well as Jesenia. Yolanda and Thelma from PT are good as well. The management is horrendous…from the unit managers to social worker, assistant director to director to administrator not a one did their job! My husband was discharged last Thursday without proper supplies for meds or any services set up! We were lied to!!! Dangerous place.. when meds are mismanaged and those in charge don’t rectify the problems it s a recipe for a disaster. If you value your loved ones life and well being look elsewhere for care!!!!!

The nurses and cna’s here are awesome, efficient and caring. In particular, Jazmin, Tonia, Jasmin, Jocelyn, DeBorah, Sharon, Ayam and Eboni. They run their a$$es off making sure everyone is well taken care of, even with the abuse and derogatory remarks they receive every day. They really deserve high praises and to be more appreciated for the commitment and long hours they spend here. Kevin Bosworth

I stayed at the Grand for rehab. Tonya brought me on board and executed the necessary steps to help me walk on my own again . Thanks to the PT staff, Thelma and Yolanda, they helped strengthen my legs so I was able to walk with a walker then on my own and I was home before I knew it. The staff was very kind and attentive and I would recommend it

This place smells like urine!!!! Gross smells feel sorry for ones who live there!!! My aunt Who is blind and can’t read the menu to make a change if she doesn’t want the main thing that’s on there just get served whatever. I have gone down to the kitchen. I have talked to the dietitian and I also talked to the new administrator and nothing has been done. Meanwhile she get stuck with food. She doesn’t like only eats a little to remove her hunger pains, and they wonder why she’s losing weight. This is ridiculous. Somebody needs to go over that menu with her instead of just coming in slamming down her tray on the table and leaving if something not done I guess I’ll have to go to the state where someone above this nursing home. I went here yesterday and once again, nothing done with the menu so I went down to the kitchen. There was a very helpful young man Nixon, who wrote down the stuff. My aunt does not like and wrote it on her sheet. They’re in the kitchen why this wasn’t done to begin with I have no idea and they’ve been giving her pork and she’s Jewish. She don’t eat pork. Then I had to help her change her clothes because she said she’s been wearing them for four days.!!! Which I believe because I’ve gone in there on a Tuesday went back on a Saturday and she had the same damn clothes on they must just sleep in them very bad place. Also it was 3:00 pm and no one had made her bed!!! So once again I did! Today is 11/9 and really smelled bad! Got there at 1:30 bed not made pitcher no water!!! Thinking what do I do next or contact!! Well my Aunt passed last night ! The only good thing about it is she’s in heaven with her loved ones and no longer in this DUMP!!!! Like the lady Eleanor said the place is like a Horror Shoe!! Rest in paradise Aunt Helen ur finally at peace and out of that whole in wall!!’
