We landed at Advanced Rehab at Autumn Lake after our mother experienced a small stroke. She had lost the use of her right leg and could not walk, stand, or take care of any of her own basic needs. Prior to the stroke she lived an independent life. Advanced Rehab at Autumn Lake has taken wonderful care of our mother. She’s been here for four weeks and many of the staff have become like family. The nurses, CNAs and all the support staff treat her with dignity and compassion, which has made this entire process so much easier for her and for us, her children. The OT and PT services are top notch. Adam, Rob, and the entire team have worked diligently with her to regain her strength and independence. While we are not quite there yet, we have every confidence they will continue to move her towards safe and independent mobility. Aside from basic needs, the center offers social activities daily to help residents interact with one another and have some fun. This is not a depressing rehab center ! Quite the opposite and we are so grateful to have landed here! I can’t recommend this facility enough.
