We felt grateful for the quality of care and comforted by the loving treatment of our sister during her short stay there. Sunrise provided a safe, welcoming and beautiful place for the last chapter of her life.

I was there today visiting from Georgia checking on my Uncle and as always was pleased with what I found. He's in the memory care section on the third floor. The entire group of 10 or 12 residents while waiting for lunch were being entertained by a member of the staff. Her name is Lisa and she told a true story about taking her own Mother to a stage play. She was interesting, joyful and enthusiastic. I watched her and saw that my Uncle also enjoyed listening. The crowd was not necessarily easy to work with but she did just what was needed. This, in my opinion was much better than leaving the group to fend for themselves in front of a mindless TV program. I congratulate all the people who work at Sunrise Senior Living because they really care. When it was time to go to lunch Lisa gave individualized attention to each resident as needed.

My husband was accepted for 30 day respite care. Morning meds were delivered at 19:20 or 11 am, several meals were missed - even when he was taken to the dining room, he was not served and meals were not brought to his room. His level two sacral wound progressed to level 3 even with the highest rated air bed. The nurse was rarely on site. He came home after 19 days which was the soonest I could bring him home as I had to be away. I paid for the highest level of service, including that he be FED his meals. That rarely happened. My daughter felt she had to be there daily to make up for poor staffing. The nurse was rarely on site. I was hoping this might be the residence to place him in soon - but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone, There was no refund or even concern on their part as to why he left early. My elevated grievance call remains unanswered after 1 month. Just the facts,

We are very impressed with the fabulous staff at Sunrise. Everyone is polite, friendly, professional, and compassionate. My mom raves about the friends that she has made, the Sunrise staff, the food, and the activities that Sunrise provides for residents. We could not have picked a better place for my mom to be for this phase of her life. Thank you, Sunrise!!! ❤️ Special shouts out to the fantastic team in the Reminiscence Neighborhood!!!! They are truly incredible as they treat the residents with such love and respect.

We visited other assisted living places, and Sunrise stood out as the best. The staff is professional, patient, caring, and friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The food is great. The activities appealed to many different interests. The transportation was reliable. The management hires and trains all of the staff to be dedicated to providing the best care for the residents. The inside and outside decorations make Sunrise feel like home, and not an institution. They even had Janie, a resident golden retriever, make it seem like a home. I would recommend Sunrise to all of my friends.
