Attractive place. Clean. Staff is very good unless they are short, like weekends and nights.. My personal observation is the nurses and CNA staff do their best to help patients.

My father is staying here for a few days after surgery. I am very impressed by the atmosphere of the place. Not only is it structurally well-maintained and clean, but the staff also has an atmosphere of contentment with their vocation, and it shows in how they treat my father. The staff is friendly, competent and knows how to make my father feel at ease. I am very grateful. Diositio los bendiga.

Overall my wound Care experience here was excellent with the exception of 1 RN/BSN & an incompetent Social Services Director IRENE who failed to arrange a home Health care team for me by discharge time! It's been 4 weeks & she still hasn't found 1.. My 1st night there, upon transfer from Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco (Dr. Montes supposedly never faxed over my pain meds orders!) Windsor Atrium had no pain meds for my terrible pain--I had just had surgery on my infected foot! So, they sent me to Valley Baptist Hospital for pain meds! OMG! My Dad recently passed away there & that was the last ER I wanted to see, & wait all night for pain meds! Well the ER Dr. overmedicated me, so I slept all night & morning there until I was shipped back to Atrium. I wanted to leave immediately, was in agony & upset! I prayed, & realized I really needed a good Wound Care Dr/PA, & nurses to take care of my wound. So I met the best Wound Care team, Nurse Maricela was a Godsend, attending to my wound patiently changing my bandages with TLC, & explaining every step! The other nurses who took care of me--Ashley, Azanette, Billie, Josh, Tammy & Nurse Assistants who were ALL attentive & caring! Superb Physical Therapy team ! Great Assistants, & both from Weslaco i must mention! My only concern was not responding faster when requesting help on ringer! It took over AN HOUR to get help in a graveyard shift! Usually a lot faster during the day! That 1 scary RN/BSN who constantly bragged of her experience proved to be a nightmare! Very unprofessional & rude! She wrongly administered anti-anxiety meds not taken by me telling me --"Just take them so you can sleep!!" OMG.. She blatantly ignored a request at 10 pm. to change my urinal, as I was bedridden then, & I had to pee, & after waiting for 9 HOURS, I fell asleep crying in utter disbelief! A very helpful nurse aide we called "Buddy" finally showed up at 7 am to help me! I filed a grievance; & asked to never see that RN again but that next night, she was back bragging--"Guess who's back?!" Can you believe her attitude? This happened TWICE! Finally after 3 grievances--1 night she took 3 HOURS to bring me my dinner dropped off by a friend at 7:30 pm..& she delivered it at 10:30 pm. to my room! After getting in my wheelchair down the hall only to find her on a personal call yelling at me: "Cant you see Im busy??" WOW!! She ultimately got suspended from work, & I heard she had multiple grievances from other patients! Well, BESIDES this scary RN/BSN from Hell--ALL THE REST were caring, attentive, friendly & very helpful!! I was impressed with the Nursing Director DELMA LUCIO & Administration for calling me after each complaint & sharing what they were doing, investigating this scary RN/BSN! Overall, I was very pleased with the care I received & blessed with THE BEST WOUND CARE TEAM I could find anywhere! Even though I never personally met or spoke with a medical doctor!! Only a Physician Assistant who came once a week! I really didn't need to see a Dr with the excellent medical care & attention from my Wound Care Team, led by MARICELA HINOJOSA! (& BILLIE & TAMMY) Luciano S. Garza, III. Patient in July/August 2025

My husband was here for three weeks of in-patient physical therapy. The nurses, nurse aids, physical therapists and staff were knowledgeable and professional. The facility is well kept and very clean. And best of all my husband was always happy with the food selections on the menu. This is the third time my husband has been here and if needed this will always be our first choice. My husband's favorite spot after his therapy was to sit by the fountain in one or the patios and enjoy the chirping of the birds. 🐦
