You have friendly, knowledgeable and hard working employees here at lakeland. You rehabilitation unit is the best. My son had a stroke, and his ability to become self reliant has improved a lot since coming to Lakeland for rehab. I want to thank the staff and especially the rehab department for treatment they provided for my son.

I recently stayed at Lankelands facility and had open wounds so I was treated daily by the wound care nurse Graham and let me tell you she was absolutely the best great with her patients and awesome at taking care of my wounds she always went above and beyond never quiting until the problem or situation was resolved. She is caring compassionate and absolutely the BEST the facility should be honored that she is employed with them. If anyone has wounds they need healing Miss Graham is your woman to see.

Very good staff. Food is medium. Haven't had any issues with management or staff. I would highly recommend to friends and family. I"m speaking of Lakeland Rehabilitation center in effingham IL.

I just want to thank The unit manager on unit 2 for her compassionate and professional service. Her attitude is always positive. When there is a Will…there is a way. She was so kind and knowledgeable. I couldn’t imagine this hard transition being any smoother. Her residents are her top priority. She’s always smiling and doing what she can to accommodate her residents as well as the family. Thanks a million nurse Lisa!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Excellent Rehabilitation Activity Center!** The activity center at The Lakeland Center is truly outstanding. The staff are caring, patient, and creative. They go above and beyond to make sure every activity is engaging and tailored to each person’s needs. The variety of programs, from art and music therapy to group fitness and social events, helps residents stay motivated and feel a real sense of accomplishment. The environment is always positive and uplifting, and you can see how much effort goes into creating a safe, fun, and inclusive space for everyone. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about helping people regain confidence and independence through meaningful activities. Highly recommend this center for anyone seeking not just recovery, but a supportive community that celebrates every step of progress.
