The staff friendly and professional. I like that they communicate with me about my love ones. But I don’t like that they didn’t have family member equipped for her appointment when going out with her oxygen tank. Twice she has ran out of oxygen before returning back to the facility.

My family’s experience at PruittHealth Fairburn was deeply concerning in several key areas, particularly compassion, communication, and attention to basic patient care standards. My mother was readmitted after two ICU stays within a month following serious medical conditions, including heart surgery, chronic kidney disease, colitis, migraines, and cardiogenic shock. She had only been at the facility for three days after having chest tubes, a ventilator, and a feeding tube removed. Any reasonable healthcare provider would expect her to be in significant pain. Despite this, Nurse Katrina displayed a clear lack of compassion and professionalism. She appeared irritated by my family asking necessary questions about my mother’s care and went as far as to falsely state that my mother only complained of pain when family was present. This type of dismissive and inaccurate statement is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a medically fragile patient. There were also serious inconsistencies from the rehab manager, Joann. She initially claimed my mother had been there a week and was walking, which was completely incorrect. After being corrected, she then stated that my mother had refused physical therapy after only two days—something my mother confirmed never happened. This raises significant concerns about documentation accuracy and whether patient care is being properly monitored or simply misrepresented. Both interactions were not only unprofessional but demonstrated a troubling lack of accountability and awareness of my mother’s actual condition. When staff members cannot accurately speak to a patient’s status, it undermines trust in the entire facility. Most alarming, my mother was discharged back to PruittHealth on a prescribed minced/soft diet with thickened liquids, yet she was given a sandwich. This is not a minor oversight—it is a direct failure to follow medical orders and could have caused serious harm. While I am giving 3 stars because not every staff member was problematic (nurse Kenyatta and Quana were great) the issues we encountered are significant and reflect systemic gaps in patient care, communication, and oversight. Families should not have to advocate this hard to ensure basic standards are met.

I highly recommend anyone to go to Pruitt Health Care in Fairburn Ga on Butner Road. It is a fantastic facility. My mom, Elizabeth Bowles was there from 2014 until 2018. They took great care of her. They have a great staff team. Keisha, Crystal, Rachel and many more. If Something would happen to me this is the place I would go. A great place to go. Jackie Thomas

The nurses and CNAs at the faculty are exceptional as are the kitchen, rehab, and housekeeping. The leadership is beyond poor. They are not staffed for success. My mother went 16 hours without being changed in her soiled underwear. When I shared this with nursing leadership…..one smirked the entire time. They promise to check on the patients every 2 hours….does not happen ….not enough staffing. Food is excellent. Housekeeping is excellent….but at the end of the day, your loved one does not get proper care. I did all the sail work for my mom from 10am to 6pm daily…..no help…Leadership does not followup on outages. I’ve filed formal complaints and will with the government also. They turn off call lights when patients need help and the issues are not resolved……and many times they are stretched so thin the front line nurses and support forget and don’t come back. I’m pulling my mom out early as I can take better care at home and have therapy come in. Highly recommend you monitor your loved one and escalate issues. The leadership needs to be overhauled……starting with top nurse leaders and office staff. BE VERY CAUTIOUS 🙏🏽
