This place has come along way,it smells really nice,I see the Department Heads walking around every day to make sure everything is running good, all Departments are good.I see on a daily the DON, Administrator are excellent and spoils the Residents to ensure they are happy, well taking care of. I have seen Jas, Christine which are CNA's along with several others go above and beyond, also the Employees going into their own pockets to pay for residents hair to be taken care of,the Salon Stylist is absolutely the Best as well, loved by many residents 😊

I was not pleased with the staff on visiting my mom in this facility. When I arrived the smell there was horrible and there were patients walking all over and there were 3 nurses at the front desk. The first nurse was on her phone. The second nurse was falling asleep. The last nurse was already sleep. My mom was in her bed throwing up in an already full throw up bag with vomit all over her bed as nurses were standing around trying to check her vitals on machines that were broken with no cuffs that fit around her arm to get proper readings very upsetting I could continue but it was just so much not pleased at all nor was the firefighters that I had to call while nurses argued on who was actually going to call 911.

My dad admitted to Fairburn Heights in February to receive rehab after his stroke. When he admitted he was unable to sit up in a wheelchair and could barely move his left side. Today I can proudly say he is going home and is able to sit up on his own and even walk short distances. There are many horror stories about "nursing homes" and it's easy to provide negative feedback. But the people here at Fairburn Heights care about their residents. To the Administrator, THANK YOU for your kindness and for having such an amazing team! There are many nurses that played a part in my dad's care and to name a few: Scott, Brittany, Gwen, Kandese, Marvo, KO, Leigh, Kay, Kayla, Tasia; THANK YOU ALL!!!!! Ms. Christine.......Where do I begin??? You are an amazing CNA with a heart of gold!!!!!!! We greatly appreciate you for going above and beyond for my dad!!!! KACIMMA (Director of Nursing) you are truly 1 of 1 and I can't thank you enough for EVERYTHING you have done for my dad!! Thank you for always being available, for caring, and for simply being you!!! Last but certainly not least, THERAPY!!!!!!!!!!! Initially, I thought my dad would never walk again!!! But with Fairburn's amazing therapy team he is able to walk, feed himself and so much more!!! THANK YOU FAIRBURN HEIGHTS!!!!!!!!

I have been a resident of this facility for five years. It has been through some terrible issues, which may account for some of the bad reviews and low stars. I do feel that this new ownership and administration is working diligently to turn this facility around. The food has improved greatly. We have a dining hall that also serves for meetings and activities with a large (72-inch) screen TV. The activities are varied enough for nearly all individuals with different capabilities. The understaffing is also being worked on with more staff being on-boarded. They are competent and pleasant. The medications are now being handled in a timely fashion. We have a lovely patio that is covered where we can spend time outside. The facility is clean and has been recently painted. The floors, while old, are clean, but will hopefully be replaced in the not too distant future. In addition, we have a wonderful therapy department, which includes physical, occupational, and speech, so this makes an excellent choice for your rehab options. We also have an active resident council, which all residents are welcome to attend. The staff also maintain an open-door policy for all the residents and their family members. All in all, I am quite content and happy here.

I have visited my aunt on numerous occasions, and each time the nursing staff has shown genuine care and compassion toward her. I truly appreciate the skill, professionalism, and attention she has been receiving. The rehabilitation staff has also impressed me with the outstanding services they provide to her and to other patients. Everyone has been welcoming, supportive, and committed to keeping our family well informed about our loved one’s care. It brings great comfort to know she is in such capable and caring hands.
