Unfortunately, this facility has declined significantly since the new manager, Marlon, took over. From my perspective, there appears to be a lack of effective oversight and accountability among the caregiving staff, and the quality of care my mother receives has suffered as a result.
This facility used to be a wonderful place for my elderly mother, particularly when Natalie White was part of the administration. I strongly believe Pruitt needs to address the current issues before the quality of the facility deteriorates further.
During my frequent visits, I have observed caregivers spending considerable time walking around the building in groups rather than attending to residents. My concerns are not simply based on observation; my mother has reported that her laundry is not always completed on her scheduled day, showers have been missed, and her trash has sometimes gone uncollected. These are basic care responsibilities that residents and their families should be able to rely on.
I have also observed Marlon frequently walking around the facility with the marketing manager. Regardless of the nature of their interactions, I believe management’s attention should be focused on addressing the concerns surrounding resident care, staff performance, and accountability.
The residents of this facility deserve consistent, respectful, and dependable care. I sincerely hope Pruitt’s leadership takes these concerns seriously, investigates them appropriately, and takes meaningful steps to restore the standard of care this facility once provided.
