I have a 90 year old client there for rehabilitation from a fall. For the most part the caregivers were good and the nurse, Jasmin was excellent. However, I recently went for a visit and there was an elderly man power washing outside this woman's window. The noise was jarring and the worker continually left the machine running unattended. The worker was outside but about 10 feet from her bed and the noise was equivalent to that of those blowers that have been banned all around Portland metro.Even I got unsettled from the 2 stroke motor noise(as they are known to impact people in a negative manner) I had gone out more than 4 times to ask if the worker could work in another area awhile but no one would do anything about it. I had asked if they could move her to a quiet area as well. Finally this woman was brought to point of tears and I asked again to move her as 2 hours had passed. A person came in to take her vitals. They said she was from an agency as they were short staffed. This young woman was so arrogant, rude and unprofessional to this elderly woman and yelled at her . She left without taking he vitals and I was taken at her arrogance and audacity of a young person and her detached manner from kindness to this elderly woman who was in pain. She refused to give her name and when I brought it to the attention of the male nurse in charge, he was indifferent and said they were short staffed. The tolerance of such behaviors in the professional field, especially to vulnerable clients shows why I gave them such poor rating. I am reporting it to DHS and took a photo of this agency nurse to let them know. In my opinion management should have taken into consideration the impact of the loud noise on a recovering patient and the staff should have demonstrated more than a indifferent response to the requests. As mentioned before, the nurse, Jasmin was exceptional and medical professionals who integrate kindness and compassion into their medical expertise deserve to be recognized as top professionals. Those like the one who treated this patient so arrogantly are a disgrace to the profession as healing happens on all realms.

This is the worst food ever
Tonight, I had to pick through the salad (from a bag) to remove the brown slimy lettuce. Was, left w approximately three bites of it.
Pizza was approximately 2 1/2 inches wide at the outer crust end.
The only edible item was the canned mixed fruit, about 1/2 cup of mixed fruits.

The care and support provided by the Tualatin Marquis exceeded all expectations during my mom’s recovery from a pacemaker and defibrillator implant. From the moment she was admitted, the staff demonstrated unwavering dedication to her well-being. The Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) teams were nothing short of phenomenal, guiding her through her pain and preparing her fully for her return home in just over three weeks.
The facility itself was spotless, and the caregiving staff set a gold standard in compassion, skill, and empathy. We want to specifically highlight the exceptional care given by Ramiro, Eloizza, Sandy, Tabitha, Anissa, Isaiah and Lin. Their commitment went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for, truly making a difference in my mom’s recovery.
While the food and food service could use improvement, the overall experience at Tualatin Marquis was extraordinary. We are deeply grateful for the incredible team who helped my mom heal and regain her independence. This facility stands out as a beacon of excellent care and compassion., Sandy, Anissa, Tabitha, Isaiah, Lin, Kylie and Ramiro. Their skill, compassion and empathy was above and beyond expectation and compare.
Sincerely- Marni G. on behalf of Jana L.

Upon first arrival I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the staff. After being here for the 1st day they had lost my medication so they used the medication that was on hand, after being here for a week they ran out of my pain medication on Christmas Day. Now I've been on this medication for over 2 years going on 3, so not only was the pain reliever 4 pain, but I was now addicted to it and upon going off it for a day causes Withdrawal symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, cramping And fevers, all of which I don't need right after a knee replacement. And since it was Christmas there's no relief in sight other than going to the hospital to get a prescription, that i have to take an amulance to. not to mention my Rx can't be filled anywhere because it's Christmas. Plus not all of the nurses were resident nurses meaning that they were not here full-time, a great deal of the nurses were floating or substitute nurses that came from an agency that filled spots, so none of them knew what the pro quo was of the facility. Oftentimes I was waiting for an hour to 2 hour for my pain medication. plus now they are out of ice packs...

My mother was there for about a month after she broke her hip. I was very impressed with the staff and the aesthetics. For the most part, she had great care and the nurses and CNA 's were very friendly and caring. It has a very upbeat atmosphere. These care centers are not perfect and staff works very hard. They do God's work, in my opinion. ☺️
