This is a very professional, very kind, very helpful facility! CNAs we're great, very helpful, the food was very good,and satisfying, Physical and Occupational therapy was excellent and insightful! All in all it was a very pleasurable experience for the 2 months I was there! Thank you so kindly!

My mom suffered a stroke and went into the skilled nursing rehab and the staff and care has been great. The staff listens to my questions and concerns and is good at making adjustments to get her back home. Thank you for the great care.

This is the best place. They take really good care of my mom. There PT department are very knowledgeable. The way the Marquis is ran is an excellent rehab facility. Thank you so much for all you do.

My husband was there for 6 days after a serious fall with a brain bleed and 29 days at OHSU, mostly in critical care. When we arrived the reception was harsh and rude. No one seemed to know or care about his condition. This place was messy, dirty and confused. I had to threaten to sue to get him in a bed big enough for him and to get side rails on his bed so he wouldn’t fall. The director of nursing had to be educated that he was a huge fall risk due to dizziness, peripheral neuropathy, being legally blind without his contacts and weak from 29 days in the OHSU, mostly in ICUs. The staff was mixed and over worked. I spent the 1st night in a chair at his bedsyide because he was in a tiny narrow bed that was too small for him. He was supposed to be doing PT and Ot rehab which was only about 3 times in 6 days. I had to educate the nurses taking care of him what his problems were and what he could and couldn’t do. Most were trying but they were not there to answer calll lights and didn’t seem to have the people needed to get him up in a chair. It was hell. When the Director of nursing returned from her vacation she did talk to me, finally but things barely changed until the day before the transfer. Then we got the Cadillac treatment for one day. I came in the morning he was to be transferred and he need to go to the bathroom but there wasn’t enough help to get him in the bathroom and No available assist equipment available so he had to dedicate in his bed. He was humiliated. I had written a Yelp review stating the horrible things that had happened when he came. On Monday when the Director of Nursing returned she already had read that review. That review somehow disappeared from Yelp entirely. So I am writing this one. The rating I would give this hell hole is one out of 5. How they have glowing reviews on Yelp is entirely deceptive. This weas not post a title rehab with a 5 star rating but a out of 5. It was more accurately described as a very bad nursing home in every way. Please don’t go there based upon the dishonest glowing reviews unless you have No other choice. I hope this review doesn’t get removed because it is truthful. I was an RN for 30 years and I know how to judge the good from the bad as this place is. If you go you will find out and be sorry.

I stayed for 38 days here including 2 Hospital stays. I found the staff were excellent, especially CNA Mylee & CNA Nancy. Others were very good. Rooms & bathrooms were cleaned in A.M. Custodial staff especially good. Found food to be excellent. Besides salt & pepper, they used other seasonings. Food was way better than bland hospital food. Choices of juices, hot cereals, cold cereal, yogurt, Chef special daily, with options of toast, eggs, hashbrowns. Lunch was Chef special or variety of salads, sandwiches, coffee, tea, ice tea, milk, water. Desert daily included freh fruit, mousse, ice cream, cookie, cakes. Special also was things like pot roast, sliders, ham dinner, turkey with potatoes & vegetables, etc. Dinner choices were similar to Lunch choices. Especially good was the sweet potato fries,, mashed sweet potatoes, not often seen in other health facilities. As I wrote, the food was especially good. Many daily activities with news letter, word search, & what activity for that day. I especially liked the nail care on Tuesdays by Deborah. PT & OT very good with therapies 5 - 6 days a week. I found this facility very good. Only one bummer, we had covid move throughout 1 wing & 3 cases in the wing I was in. Visitation during this time was done outside in great setting. Meals were delivered to rooms as dining room was off limits due to closeness to patients.
