I’ve had Kristin for four years and in the past year the quality of care has really gone downhill. She used to be decent in person, but she’s always seemed to struggle with online calls. Around two years ago, my therapy got switched to online. Since then, it hasn’t really been great. She always seems uninterested during the 30 minute sessions, and is always last minute cancelling and rescheduling. She also tends to be late to almost every appointment. I even have trouble getting my meds when I need refills. The pharmacy often calls her for more info, etc. She takes a while to get back to them which leads me to not having my meds for a while. Recently I’ve had an awful time with her and trying to get documents. I basically pleaded with her and her assistants to please try to get it done. It was needed asap but my deadline ended and I ended up not getting my paperwork. That was honestly my final straw. I’m going to stop seeing her and find somewhere else.

UPDATE 2: after months of sending emails and asking for my records, they were finally delivered to me. If you’re having trouble getting your records from this psychiatrist do not give up. You have the right to your records and they cannot be legally withheld from you. UPDATE: they have reached out and called me, and are telling me they will not release my medical records because of an outstanding balance on my account. Which is illegal. I have provided a screenshot, and I will be filing a complaint if my records are not given to me within 30 days. What they are doing is a violation of my health information privacy right. Know your rights, do NOT let them push you around and lie to you. This is illegal Please stay away from this practice. It has been over a year since I requested my medical records. I have reached out and asked three times now, as did the SSA for my disability case she never responded to and never sent to them. After reaching out on the phone, I was told I would have to pay out of pocket for an appointment to see her inorder to have my records sent to me. I no longer see her as my provider. I should not have to pay an appointment fee to receive what I have a legal right to and I feel like I’m being pushed around. I am not sure why there’s positive reviews here, because it seems there is a pattern of negligence based on other negative reviews who have gone through similar. I ultimately chose to leave and stop seeing her after I felt our sessions were not going anywhere and costing me money I barely had. She was frequently 15-20 minutes late and Even refilling my medications was a chore, and I often had to to get my primary doctor to refill my medications because she would let me run out. It’s so important to have a psychiatrist/ psychologist/ therapist or any doctor to advocate for you and actually be professional and do their job. If you’re looking for consistency, compassion and advocacy do not waste your time working with Kirstin. I am chronically ill and rely on medication to live any kind of a normal life. She should be ashamed of how she treats her patients.

I repeatedly asked Kristin Aguado for testing and we made no progress for several months. Just asking the same generic questions and would say we would do it but never did. There was next to no communication, canceled appointments and wouldn't tell me, didn't show up on appointments, and took her over a month to fill out forms that would take an hour. It was taking her so long to respond that my work was even annoyed. Held on to my records for two months before I found out she was not releasing them because I still had a balance for them. A balance that was supposed to be set on weekly auto pay. Couldn't even set that up right and tell me. I would not recommend. Complete waste of time and money.

came to Kristen after positive reviews. I had initial concerns from sloppy intake forms, which were poorly, and often incorrectly, formatted for the types of information being requested. I pushed through that and through an initial couple costly appointments without any progress because of the positive reviews, and figured this was just part of working with a new healthcare provider. After a dozen appointments, I can confidently say that you should end your consideration here and go elsewhere for healthcare. In those dozen appointments, Kristen was regularly 20-30 minutes late, in excess of what she stated as "there are often times when there will be up to a 15 minute wait to be seen". There were only two appointments of the dozen in which she was within the 15-minute window she claims. There was another appointment she incorrectly scheduled as in-person rather than video and was non-responsive to my inquiries leading up to that appt, leading to a missed appt, and another appt where after waiting for over 30 minutes, I had to move on to other matters I couldn't reschedule. Too, the appt questionnaire, like the intake forms, is so inaccessible it often prevented access to the zoom portal which further complicated appointments. On multiple occasions, Kristen would tell me she'd send followup information regarding supplements or prescription information, only to disappear and never send the information promised. I would reach out, in writing, requesting the information she promised to send. Of those, there were two occasions where she did not respond for at least two weeks. Aside from those two instances, my other attempts to request information were altogether ignored and never addressed. After a dozen costly appointments and months of these issues, I requested my health records from our time so that I could take them to a provider who would be communicative, punctual, professional, and responsible. It has now been OVER A YEAR since making this request, and despite multiple attempts to follow up and get my records, or even a status update, Kristen has failed to deliver as required by law, and has not even responded to a single message or call since. I have filed a complaint with the HHS Office for Civil Rights, and I'm cautioning others to avoid this place and find a provider elsewhere who will actually communicate and help their patients, rather than taking hundreds - thousands - of dollars from them while abandoning them and going in circles.
