Bickford of Worthington is an excellent RCF that I would recommend to anyone. My siblings and I are grateful for the superlative care and attention our mother receives and quality of life she enjoys there.<br><br>I cannot praise highly enough the Bickford of Worthington team, from the Executive Director on down. It is unusual to find competent, knowledgeable, dedicated staff at every level of an institution. The day-to-day operations run smoothly, and any questions or issues I have are addressed promptly. I appreciate the open lines and ease of communication. My siblings and I are welcomed and feel free to contact anyone about any aspect of my mother’s care via phone, text, or email and invariably receive prompt, courteous response.<br><br>I am impressed with the high quality of the caregivers at Bickford and the retention rate of the excellent caregivers. This is the third assisted living facility in which my mother has stayed, so I have a solid base for comparison. The quality of the caregivers at Bickford is heads above the rest. The positive attitude, pleasant manner, generously helpful spirit, and skillful ministrations of the caregivers that I witness on my frequent visits make me very grateful, every time I visit, that my mother resides at Bickford of Worthington. It is clear that the personal qualities of temperament and helpfulness the caregivers bring to their work has been enhanced by good training and supervision.<br><br>The detailed attention to my mother's specific needs and likes continues to impress me. The caregivers are not giving minimal or generic attention. They are giving personal attention, as I witness when I am present. My mother is always comfortable, nicely settled, and nicely dressed (she cannot dress herself) no matter what time of day I visit, which is 4-5 times a week.<br><br>Interactions between my mother and the caregivers are a joy to watch. There are happy exchanges and light joking in the midst of the skillful ministrations. The caregivers also interact with me in a pleasant, respectful manner and are sensitive to our privacy when visitors and family are present, deferring to the priority of my mother's social life. I cannot praise the caregivers enough!<br><br>I appreciate the cheery, homey atmosphere, beginning with the decorated entryway that is always so inviting. I’m thankful for the seasonal decorations, activities, and festivities that bring enjoyment and the benefit of a lively environment for the residents.<br><br>The online reportage of various events on Facebook and periodic newsletters give us a window onto the world of our family members.<br><br>Bickford of Worthington has an excellent esprit de corps. The team at every level cooperates in a harmonious manner and conveys a sense of pride in the institution and dedication to its mission. In sum, Bickford of Worthington is truly a “home away from home” that feels like family.
