These girls were more than awesome!! Addie and Tabitha i believe were their names. I left there knowing my loved one was ok with them! I did not have to worry about quality of life. Period

I am writing this review to warn others about the extremely poor and unacceptable care my mother received at this facility. Our experience was deeply upsetting, and no family should have to go through what we did. From the moment my mother arrived, the level of neglect was clear. She had not been given dinner at the hospital before being transferred, and the facility made no effort to provide her with a meal upon arrival. This is especially concerning given that she is a dialysis patient with significant mobility limitations—she cannot walk and has limited use of her left arm. These are not minor details; they are critical to her care, yet they were completely disregarded. During her short stay, my mother repeatedly felt uncomfortable, unheard, and unsafe. She reported that her personal belongings had been tampered with while she was away at dialysis—her drawers were gone through and left in disarray. She also shared a room with someone who was unwelcoming and made her feel uneasy, which only added to her distress. Even more troubling was the way staff treated her when family members were not present. She told us that staff spoke to her harshly, were dismissive, and even told her she would have to do everything on her own. This is completely unacceptable in a rehabilitation setting, where patients are supposed to receive assistance and support as they recover. If patients are expected to be 100% independent, then there is no purpose in being at a facility like this—especially when insurance and taxpayers are footing the bill. When we made the decision to remove her from the facility, we encountered even more issues. Staff refused to allow us to take the wheelchair she had been using—even though her walker had been left behind at the hospital due to their rushed transfer. Instead of showing basic human compassion and helping us find a solution for someone who physically could not move on her own, they rigidly enforced rules without any regard for her condition. The environment itself was also unacceptable. While the outside appears clean, the inside tells a completely different story. There was a strong odor of feces upon entering. Patients were left calling out for help for extended periods without assistance. Staff were observed laughing at individuals with mental health issues, which is both cruel and unprofessional. The facility felt unclean, disorganized, and poorly managed. Additionally, the staff’s demeanor was consistently negative. From the very first interaction, many employees came across as rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. There was a clear lack of compassion, patience, and professionalism across the board. My mother did not even last three days here before we felt it was necessary to remove her for her own well-being. That alone should speak volumes. I cannot recommend this facility under any circumstances. If you care about your loved one’s safety, dignity, and proper care, please look elsewhere. No one deserves to be treated this way—especially when they are at their most vulnerable. The DON- Alex could care less about our mother not having a wheelchair to use once leaving. My sister said she was heartless on the phone. Rhonda and Latoya the night nurses shrug their shoulders and said they don’t care “she’s not leaving with that wheelchair. Its ours” I don’t need calls or emails. I seen all I needed to see. This place should be shut down.

My mom was transferred to Williamsburg from the hospital to complete her treatment. We wanted a facility close to home so I could visit her every day, and we chose this one. While places like this often face challenges, I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for the staff who cared for my mom. Leaving her somewhere other than her home was one of the hardest things our family has ever had to do. But by the second day, I felt such relief seeing her improve. The compassion and attention she received made all the difference. Every single person we encountered treated my mom with kindness, patience, and respect. James, Faith, Juanita, DeeDee, Eke, the social worker and the entire rehab team went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and supported. My family and I will be forever thankful for the care she received.

It was with a sign of relief to finally have a loved one discharged to a place where she could receive full care. And have a normalcy of encouragement. When making my first visit with an introduction the director, Vernon was very rude and dismissive. Questioning my view of phones and if I was recording. Informing him of my purpose and position his demeanor slightly changed. It's crazy how a state ran facility can operate within having incorrect documents for a resident to be at their facility and.be treated. Especially when they're aged and have a mental condition and don't follow protocol when there's a legal representative. County and State ran facilities are NEVER the best option and my loved one has been through some and by the violations along with review of Williamsburg they are 1 and 2 of the worst. It wasn't by choice but by the hospital desperately wanting her placed placed. SN: Admissions person is very attentive, caring and informative. Social Worker, Gwen was argumentative, combative and disrespectful. **I pray that God protects my loved one while there 🙏🏽 Update: First impression of the South Tower was good. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Residents appeared well kept and engaged. The memory end staff was attentive with keeping the residents entertained and they were well kept. My loved one seemed comfortable. TY

On Wednesday, the staff at this Nurse gnome dropped my mother. They did not notify my family until Thursday evening Friday morning. My mom was pronounced dead at Charlton Methodist. This is clearly an act of unprofessional behavior by both administration and staff. They tried to hide it and say she fell my mother has not walked in 20 years there is no way that she tried to walk and fell
