My family member checked in to Adora about a week ago after having a hip replacement. He has had nothing but great things to say. Everyone he has come in contact with has gone above and beyond to make sure that his stay is comfortable and pleasant. They check on him often and even sit to chat and listen to his jokes! The building is clean, smells nice and seems so well cared for. The nurses, the social worker, and especially the administrator Jimmy. He has an eye for detail and a very caring heart. THANK YOU ADORA MIDTOWN PARK! We “adore” you. 💜

My Husband is currently here at Adora midtown recovering from back surgery. We were skeptical at first because of the reviews but we took the tour and decided to give them a chance.. He has been here for a month now. The staff and especially the administrator Jimmy has been very nice and accommodating. He was paralyzed from the neck down when he got here.. The physical therapist are amazing, My husband is getting stronger everyday his recovery is going great better then they expected , he using a cane to get around.

This facility has very poor bedside manners and negligent staff. After my mother-in-law had surgery, we wanted to make sure she received the best possible post care and placed her at Adora. The surgery went well and we were hopeful of a speedy recovery. The surgeon gave us specific post care instructions that we had to follow and which we shared with Adora. Within days of her being there she was rushed to the hospital due to an infection for improper post care hygiene. Her feeding tube became infected for not being cleaned as instructed! When I spoke to the staff they only gave me excuses for the situation. No to mention that when doing my nightly feeding with my mother-in law, I went to wash my hands and there was no paper towels for 3 days in a row. On one occasion, I approached a nurse for help, if she could help me find someone that could restock. H]er exact words: " that is not my job". She proceeded to turn away from me and walk off. As if I had insulted her. I don't know her name but she has log blue braids. I felt compelled to write this review because I don't want your mother or father to go through this. Their staff was rude to me when asking for a simple request. I cant image how they treat those who are bedridden and vulnerable. I am still baffled by this experience (which would read like a short novel). If you take your loved one here beware of my concerns and take action.
