They should be called POOR HELP. They have treated my grandmother very poorly. She constantly asked for help to be changed for hours. They didn’t come until our family members arrived. The nurse was sitting at the desk right outside her door and my grandmother’s door was open. The nurse raised the bed and told my grandmother to jump down and get into the wheelchair when she can’t even walk. They talk down to the patients and are very rude. DO NOT send your family members here. My grandmother said she wouldn’t even treat a dog the way she’s been treated here. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use this facility. If I could give them a zero, I would.

It's was great Mr. R. Sanchez was very motivating each morning his kind words helped me start my day. Brittany the wound care nurse was wonderful she made my wounds feel better and she always had a kind words and made me feel comfortable. Jorge he started a news 📰 letter and they are so inspirational if you felt down somehow the news letter would fulfill your mood. Kristie she is the head nurse and was so excited and she could put a smile on your face that was real. And she made sure that you were comfortable.

Wish I could give a negative stars!!! Its almost impossible to get anyone to answer a phone and when you do, you cant get a straight answer about your loved one!!! NEVER had this experience with anyone else. This is ridiculous!

This is located on the 5th floor of the Main Building of Texas Presbyterian Hospital. I had the opportunity of spending time there on two separate occasions while caring for a family member.<br><br>Compared to the other floors of the building, this floor seems like a ship with a dead engine, floating aimlessly in the ocean, and staffed by mannequins that move. The staff seriously need a refresher course in civic interpersonal communications. The verbal responses are in monosyllables and smiles seem to be a taboo. And that goes for the receptionists as well.<br><br>Response times of the nursing staff here need to be multiplied five times as anywhere else, to be of any value. Even after calling for a nurse's attention/assistance on the SonifiHealth pillow speaker remote, a patient mostly needs to wait an hour or so to get a response. And by then, the patient's situation gets worse. The alarm keeps buzzing at the nurses' station, but no one seems to care.<br><br>I had the opportunity of talking to an elderly patient there, who had a surgery of his ankle, and was wheelchair bound. He seemed equally disappointed with the level of service he was receiving. To quote him: "I press the button for a nurse's attention, but an hour or so goes by before anyone comes" and "No one here smiles."<br><br>But all that does not take away from the fact that a handful few of the staff are indeed helpful, compassionate - and they do manage a smile or two along the way. But, unfortunately, that group is a pathetic minority. And if the excuse is that the place is under-staffed, that ought to be looked into.<br><br>The only bright spot in this place are the physiotherapists, who are always helpful, communicative, responsive - and who also smile a lot.<br><br>Overall, I'll have to admit that I was deeply disappointed with the quality of service and patient care at this place.

Can't recommend this place. The PT is good there but if you had surgery and need lots of care, it's not good. The doctor is not good. He gave me wrong treatment because he didn't talk to me and I spent the rest of time there trying to undo this wrong treatment. Never saw him for discharge so left without knowing what I should do. Some good caregivers work there and some not, like everywhere. But they do have good PT if that's what you need most.
