White Oak Manor, I can not say enough about this facility! Clean, welcoming staff, fun and activities for all residents! The staff are attentive to needs and go that extra mile to make sure your experience is memorable. In some of the hardest times for families, I can always count on White Oak to make these trying times much easier!!!!!

If I could rate this place -0.0 stars I would but because I am nice I chose 1 star. My last living grandmother was there due to a fractured bone injury at her assisted living place which she was then transferred to White Oak. While she was there she had her hearing aids soaked which were very expensive, she had her clothes washed with other people’s and someone left crayons in their pockets no one checked and it went all over new clothes we just purchased for her, plus then a nurse and trainee put my grandmother in a lift chair re-opened her stitches and broke her right wrist. Took 4 days to tell my mother about it. Meanwhile we live far not close by. It’s awful to know that these people don’t care that these are people’s mothers, daughters, grandparents etc…. It’s so heartbreaking. I would NEVER care for anyone the way they have my grandmother!!!! I would give above and beyond care. My grandma also has dementia so the pain meds and muscle relaxers also made her dementia worse. The icing on the cake was when the two nurses laughed at my grandmother right after she was recovering from her fall fresh out of surgery. That is someone grandparent, great grandma, mother, friend, etc… to laugh is so inexcusable!!!!! This place needs new management. A new team. You all need to take a class on how to care for elderly people in recovery because you all have failed and get a -F. I hope someone comes and grades you and shuts you down!!!! Oh and by the way: the Lidocaine pain patch goes on someone’s back or where pain is not where an open wound is or where her stitches are. Not a nurse but even I know that!!!!!

If I could give this place "0" stars I definitely would. My Dad had Parkinson's Disease and was using a feeding tube. Medically, the staff knew he couldn't eat or drink anything. My Dad was left alone in his room, he vomited and aspirated the vomit. No one checked on my Dad to address this issue and I found him in his room myself. Yes, I had to fine him like that. Consequently, my Dad developed aspiration pneumonia and passed away due to the extremely lazy staff's lack of care. Please do not place your loved one in this horrible place. Place them anywhere else but in this terrible place. I wish someone had warned me about them. Do not trust these people with your family.

My aunt has spent 2.5 weeks here after her almost month hospital stay. We were very concerned when she was transferred to rehab because of all the bad things we have heard/witnessed at other rehabs in Rock Hill. White Oak had none of those things. Super friendly staff, good rehab activities, she enjoys the food, and clean private rooms with mini fridges. They certainly put all of our fears to ease with the service that she has received during her stay here.

The staff is very personable and the nurses and those that care for my mother-in- law are very friendly and seem to love their job. They seem to care about the patients as well. The place is also where my mother and father stayed years ago when disabled. I would give a 5, but the rooms really need a good remodeling. The amount it costs to keep them there should warrant an update in the rooms. I think the rooms should be more like the rehab side. But that doesn’t take away from the good people who work there.
