Very upset with white oak in Lancaster my father lived there for about 5yrs or so. I unfortunately loss my father this past week. No condolences from the management staff only people that came in was there was a nurse and some staff. The lady that had me sign paperwork for his stuff didn't even off there condolences.also if they saw that he was declining why was i never called to come up there

My great grandfather stayed here a few years back. The employees were so nice to him and his family whenever we came over to visit him. I really do think that he enjoyed the last few months of his life at White Oak.

If you have family here please check on them. A nurse entered the room and placed the medicine on the food tray and proceeded to walk out. She did not introduce herself or title nor what medication was giving. when asked she got defensive. The lady that brought the food admitted that the food has been sitting out for hours because the cook did not want to put the food in the warmer for the patients. This is done on a daily basis for all meals. A unattended male was in the hall touching on a female consumer and she could not defend herself. Notified the nurse at the nurse station she moved him up the hall and continued her conversation with her coworkers. The male consumer was making his way back down the hall.This should not be happening in a place where we trust that our loved ones are being cared for and feel safe.

All the staff in Lancaster are awesome! This includes everyone I have met or heard about the care thru a family member. No job is to small when it pertains to the care of a loved one. I thank them with the sincerest heart possible! Yesterday I heard Aaron singing God or love lifted me with a resident. Both of them looked so happy. Other staff members sang too ( I don't know their name). Love all the activities including church. Staff takes patients outside in their chairs to enjoy the sunshine. With all this, it still takes the love and time of their families. I gave White Oak in Lancaster a 4 out of 5 rating. That is due to some of the beds, rooms etc.need updating. Absolutely LOVE White Oak Manor!
