I enjoyed my time at Waterside Health & Rehab. Thank you Kadijea & Caitlin (Social Services), Tracey (Admissions), Ciara (BOM), Ashley (Human Resources), the Life Enrichment team, Daja, V, Nate, Ms. Sharon, Gail, RT team. All these people played a role and took care of me during my time there.

This was the worst experience I ever had to go through!. My daughter (FE27) was on end of life care at this facility. This was the only facility that would take her with a trach. It was so hard in the first place to have to do this and this place was horrible!. My daughter was a vegetable so I had to advocate for her. A lot of the nurses took this as an insult. Some examples are 1. I always left at night and came back in the morning. When I would come in my daughters trach humidifier was embedded on the side of her cheek. 2. When they put her new pain patches on, the nurse would just drop her back on the bed. 3. When she needed succtioning out, they would look at me like I was crazy for even asking them to do so one nurse would try and give my daughter who was a vegetable her meds in a cup and would lose a lot of it down her face. This is just a small amount on what happened here. I can't stress enough to do your research before placing a loved one at this facility!. I did do a complaint with headquarters and because I couldn't find my key code to access what they researched, the company said I had to start all over. Just crazy!.

My mother was a short term/therapy resident at Waterside Health and Rehab Center last month after a short hospitalization. I was impressed with the kindness and dignity the staff showed her as she has mild Dementia and this was the first time she had ever been in a facility and away from her home. They ensured she was safe and comfortable at all times. Every time I visited or called her (which were different hours of the day), she was always in good spirits, clean, had snacks available and most important, happy. My mother was a fall risk due to her overall diagnosis and ambulatory status. The nursing staff were diligent in monitoring her closely, assisting her to the restroom often, and ensuring her overall care was provided in a loving and caring manner. Therapy staff ensured she was meeting her goals so she could return home safely. I want to thank Waterside for everything they assisted my mother with. She is now home and doing well! Praying she never has to go to the hospital or a skilled nursing facility again but if it is ever needed, Waterside will be our first choice! 😊

Staff members are all friendly and accommodating, especially important over the Holidays. My elderly mother with limited mobility and diminished mental capacity is being accommodated with great care. The facility is clean and mom’s room is comfortable. Thank you for helping to ease our stress!

they neglected my grandpa so bad, everyday that i went to visit he was in worse shape than the last until he couldn’t be neglected anymore and they have sent no condolences since he passed in september. (the bare minimum) this facility cares about the money, not your loved ones. not to mention the place smells absolutely horrible its unbearable. How does a STAGE 4 bedsore happen when you are supposed to be moving your patients every couple hours?
