We checked out Vineyard Park North Creek for my MIL. Suzanne Kennedy met with us, gave us a tour and tons of helpful information. This place is amazing! Tons of light, modern feel. It felt like an active retirement community. They have a variety of apartment sizes, from studio to two bedroom. There are levels of care that affect pricing. The cost felt exceptionally reasonable for all levels. There are scheduled activities and when we met the activity director he was looking into a High Tea that someone had suggested. This is such a lovely community and Suzanne was warm, welcoming, and extraordinarily helpful.

Overall, our family has been very pleased with Vineyard Park The staff seem very nice. Building is nice and bright. No air conditioning in apartments, so they can get warm in summer months. We were told to purchase a stand up air conditioner for her apartment that would vent through her windows. Residents are very welcoming and reach out to one another, always saying hello, or having a chat - which is great! The residents NEED magnetic name tags soooo bad!! The majority of people living here are elderly and have memory issues. When you've eaten lunch with the same people for 6 months and cannot remember their name - that is a problem! Almost daily, someone brings up how bad they need name tags. Food is hit or miss, but they did just hire a new cook & it's been a huge improvement. Yay! Chicken Cobb salad w/ blue cheese dressing is great! We get it all the time. That said... if you have a visitor join you for a meal, lunch is $15.00 & dinner is $19.00. $10.00 - $12.00 seems like a more practical price point for meals based on what you get. Portion sizes tend to be smaller due to elderly residents not eating as much as younger people do. I typically get a salad and a coffee (you can get dessert, but I haven't had luck with them in the past - probably better with new cook?) The website & handout say there is always coffee and snacks available in the dining room, but often the snack shelf is empty, and often needs to be restocked, and they need to put out more of the individual servings of 1/2 & 1/2. These are issues I plan to bring to Vineyard Parks attention, so I am sure they will be resolved. Vineyard Park is located right on Bothell-Everett Highway and the road noise is awful. I don't understand why they didn't do any noise proofing to the apartments / windows? Residents often talk about not being able to sleep due to the road noise. If you do get an apartment here, try for the west side of the building away from the highway. There are hallway restrooms available on every floor and they are very clean. We are just very thankful our family member likes it here! They like their apartment, the staff, the apartment complex and new friends they have met here. We are so grateful for this! * We do really wish it had an enclosed courtyard as elderly folk can tend to wander & unless in memory care there is nothing the staff can do you stop them. UPDATE: Nov. 2025 Residents now have magnetic name tags!!! It makes such a difference for them to be greeted by their names. Thank you Vineyard Park N.C.!
