My mother with advanced dementia was here for 2 1/2 years and was comfortable there. Staff were so kind and would send pictures and keep us informed. Place was clean. The courtyard was a selling point as it gives residents a place outdoors to walk around since this is a locked down facility. Understaffed, though they had a hiring sign out the entire time, so best for patients without too many physical issues.

My sister-in-law was a resident at The Cottages and we were very pleased with the care she received. It’s a clean and pleasant facility. Staff gets to know residents and family, always available and helpful, quickly adjusts to residents needs and preferences. Staff encourages residents participate in activities. Office staff is very helpful, giving us great insight when we needed help dealing with Medicare or learning about dementia.

It is clear when you enter that the staff at the Cottages in Marysville truly care for the people they are taking care of. The facility, though a little bit older is well maintained and looks very inviting and homey. Your loved ones are definitely cared for here.

I would recommend The Cottages @ Marysville to any family looking for a safe, friendly, clean and caring environment for your loved one. A varied menu is offered and special diets are catered to. The staff takes a personal interest and pride in tending the needs of their residents. The buildings and courtyard are well-cared for and inviting. Live music and activities are offered to all. I am so impressed with them!

I have been working with this community for many years as an outside agency provider- and I can say that the staff is very kind, patient and attentive to each resident and their individual needs, and do a fantastic job communicating with families and outside care providers! The staff is very knowledgeable and dedicated to providing compassionate and safe care to each resident!
