Still no air conditioning 11:00 p.m. at night in my apartment still 80°I have talked to management and they don't know when it's going to be fixed all they suggested that they can give us a courtesy fan I have breathing issues and I know I'm not the only one in the building that has the same problem

5/27/26 Update: It is now 88 degrees in my mother's apartment. She is reporting symptoms consistent with heat exhaustion. She is 80 years old. I cannot understand why the management company is not taking this as a serious health issue. She has contacted building management on multiple occasions. She has not received a reply to emails and apparently there is no way to leave a voicemail. When she speaks with the person in the leasing office (during their limited hours) she is told, "They are working on it," in a patronizing tone.<br><br>5/19/26 Update: It is currently 87 degrees in my mother's apartment (she has not turned the oven on or run the clothes dryer). There has been no air conditioning for 7 weeks. The windows don't open. She has sent multiple emails to the address provided below and has not received a response. I don't understand how this is legal in a building that rents to older adults.<br><br>Edited to respond to The Lofts at Roberts reply:<br>My mother sent an email last week to the address provided in your response to my initial review. She eagerly awaits a reply. She has also called the property management company and has not received a return call. I am continuing to post here because you seem to respond.<br>Here in Indiana, the outdoor temperature is currently in the low to mid-50s. The temperature in my mother's apartment is 86 degrees, as it has been for the past two days. My mother is not the only elderly tenant in the building experiencing this issue. I urge you - at the very least - to post a physical sign in the building that includes the following information: an estimated time of repair, where tenants can access complimentary fans and the amount tenants may deduct from their May rent.<br><br>My mother has a cute apartment here and was very happy here until recently. There has been no air conditioning in the building for three weeks. The temperature in my mother's apartment is currently 83 degrees. This is a former hotel and the windows don't open.. It's also a 55+ community, so the building is full of older adults and seniors who are especially vulnerable to heat-related health problems. The leasing manager has informed my mother that "parts are on order," to fix the system, but could not provide an estimated date of repair. (Also, for some reason the leasing office is only open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10a to 2p. )The property management office is unreachable.

The elevators brake down all the time I've been told by someone who lives there right now that the air conditioning and heat has not been working for about a month. Some of the tenants that live there steel from others. The elevators smell like marijuana a lot of the time. From my personal opinion the staff has their favorite tenants and let them get away with a lot while other tenants get in trouble. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this place.

I've been trying to make contact with customer care via email, phone calls for over a month now with no response. The only response was an automated email stating that customer service would get a hold of me within three business days. It's been over a week.
