The staff is very helpful and friendly. In particular, Patrick has given me great info and advice.The residents are active and friendly too. I recommend Silver Birch of Muncie to my senior clients.

They allowed my mother’s waiver to lapse although they told me when she moved in they would handle the waiver because “that’s how we get paid.” Once her waiver lapsed they started charging her the full amount and when I told them she didn’t have the money, they tried to get me to pay it for her. They also double charged her rent on two different occasions, which thankfully I saw and her bank got one of those returned and removed their ability to take any more of her money. From our experience, this facility takes advantage of their disabled residents.<br><br>Response to facility: I have spoken to you numerous times, but everyone stopped retuning my calls once I made it clear that we were not at fault and I would not be covering for your mistake. When we moved her out, your facility also sent her off without ANY of her prescriptions. I had to call and push to get those.

We recently toured the facilities and they were immaculate. It didn't have the smell of other facilities I've been in. The apartments are so nice. But honestly the gourmet kitchen service and the awesome social atmosphere were maybe the most impressive. I just told my parents about Silver Birch for my grandmother in the coming years!
